When I worked at J. Crew in tower city back in the day, a large percentage of our sales (outside of Christmas holiday time) were travelers. my guess would be about 30-40%

To each their own, but in reference to the two pictures above, doesn't the first one look a lot like Lower Euclid? Variety, in my opinion, is an asset. Not everyone is going to like uptown's style, but I for one, do.

So far this neighborhood center exists on pure desire and ambition of some passionate people, not market forces. If this gets pulled off, it will be a miracle. My money is on a miracle! Go Waterloo!!!

As for the convention center, I can say for me it is the most attractive one I have seen, because I can not see it. :) For the Medical Mart building, lets wait for the finished product before we pass judgement.
