If I recall correctly, there is two phases to this project, right? First phase is restaurants, retail fronting a large parking structure, phase 2 was an office tower. Do I have that abaout right? Is so, not bad for phase 1

The building was being demolished when I drove by at 9:00AM. I was the first customer there :(

Nothing says grass roots like Kinko's printed banners. Reminds me of the signs Art Model made up thanking him for his years in CLE at the last Browns game. To me, it's seems like the people in City Hall & Rock gaming who were managing the "grass roots" campaign to have the old convention center saved to be the casino, rather than the new CC.

For the pro-bus argument (which I am on) they should say the square was designed with bus traffic in mind. We should at least see if the busses are a huge disruption before banning them. Try it for a while, and if it is too burdensome, then give RTA some notice to reroute the busses. I have not been there yet, but how many people congregate in the center of the square, rather than on grass lawn, in the fountain, near the cafe or by S&S monument? My bet is once busses (and busses only) traverse the square, people will not even notice them

Not that its a huge deal, but Papa John's commercial featuring the Indians plays down here in New Orleans, so it must be national distribution

I like the idea of lots of people being on the lakefront. It will support the restaurants at North Coast harbor year round, and make it more attractive to offices to go down there knowing that amenities are next-door and not up 9th street hill

It might be a bit premature to worry about the long term effects of potentially poor maintenance two weeks after the facilities open. The park isn't perfect, but it's a very nice addition to the city. Let's just enjoy it for a minute

So, problems exist at Hopkins, and it is not run as well as it can be, I think everyone who experiences the airport will agree Details might be mixed up, but overall, the city needs to manage the facility better, or get out of the business all together
