add into that designs have to be submitted soon. IIRC, MMPI has to submit designs to CC for approval

I wonder if it the same guys from Johnny's downtown. If so, I imagine it would be more of a classic cocktail type lounge. But that is just speculation.

Beachwood: New Eaton Headquarters
Out of school I was hired at Parker. They sent a group of us to 9 weeks of training in California, which was nice. On the last day of training they laid us all off, not so nice. The next week, I headed to my old division in Pittsburg to clean out my desk. I became my own bartender, and told myself to cry in my beer tonight because tomorrow would be a better day. That day I said that to myself was September 10th, 2001. (I f*cking hate Parker) Sorry, 8 years later and still mad. Back to Eaton :)

^that was my point on the last page. The conventional wisdom for people above 50 (generally) is parking equals prosperity

KJP, what would you give odds on a BRT being included in the OC?

Beachwood: New Eaton Headquarters
At least Eaton tried to stay in the city. Parker bolted to the other side of 271 without a backwards glance

Beachwood: New Eaton Headquarters
The problem with Eaton is the decision makers are old white people who genuinely feel that suburban sprawl is impressive

Cleveland - Moving in from Chicago...
What neighborhood in Chicago do you live in now? Which one is your ideal? We may be able to match you up that way. I used to live on Southport, Roscoe Village, Lincoln Park, and south loop. A lot of my friends are Beverly rats.

help for 1st time chicago visitor
Anywhere along the Brown line is good. My favorite street, where I used to live, is Southport Ave. The Indians will be playing at Wrigley, so there will be a bunch of Clevelanders in the area. Millenium Park is cool, go see the bean.

DocBroc, When I was in Chicago, my busses would always wind up bunching. It is not a unique problem to the RTA, it may be inherent to the process. (gave you some enginerd speak there :)

when my brother ran the little bar and grille in the mid 90s, Mr. Jacobs would be known to stop in after a big win and buy drinks for the house.

^Thanks Mayor McCleveland Thanks LaFont, but I used to be a Chicagoan, and I am familiar with the plantings. You are right, they are beautiful, but they take a lot of man hours to maintain. When I would bartend in the south loop, I would walk to River North after work for a late night drink and see about 10-15 people watering, weeding, etc.

Cleveland: Opportunity Corridor Boulevard
I am not sure if this has been talked about on this thread or others, but what would the cost be to incorporate a light rail system onto a newly constructed street?
