I'm not sure what their plans are for hours or operation, but if they do like the WSM and only open 4 days a week, they should make as many of those days different from the WSM as possible. I'm guessing they'll want to be open on weekends, maybe Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday?
  2. I have a question about the parking structure between 668 and the City Club building. Since the garage is set back from both Euclid and Prosect, was the intent to use the surface lots for new development, or did they just not have the money to make an even larger garage?

NO. Why do you ask? Sorry, forgot the emoticon. The font for FCUK Lebron is very similar to the french connection logo (FCUK).

Lebron has a line of clothes with french connection?
  5. Wow, seriously? You work with some generous people. Nobody I work with would pay someone to take them to lunch, be it cabbie or friend. Practical people :) . If we all want to hit w25th for lunch, its cheaper to pay a dollar or 2 for my parking instead of $5 for a round trip on the rapid.
  6. ^For the far away places I usually drive and just make everyone pay for my parking. It only ends up being a dollar or two each.
  7. ^When you say each stop adds about 5 minutes, does that include the time lost because of deceleration and acceleration? Its a lot faster to roll through at 50mph than to slow down, stop for 5 minutes, and then get back up to 50 mph. Not sure on actual speeds allowed through stops, just pulled 50mph out of my rear.

^True, but I think Miami is his best shot out of all the teams that were interested.

Eh, I don't blame him. He has 1 maybe 2 years left and he deserves a ring.
  10. The point im trying to make is why is demand there instead of public transportation? Who exactly will demand those parking spots? Those coming into the city will most likely cab or use public transportation as will the majority of workers. It would seem cost prohibitive to build a private garage when there are so many around it. Maybe they expect to make money off of it, especially if they anticipate an increased demand in the area.
  11. I'm assuming the garage would go on the parking lot directly east of the building? It would be cool if they built it like 515 euclid with the capacity for a building on top in the future.
  12. "Harris referred to California's high-speed rail project, which he noted was recently criticized by that state's auditor as being poorly managed, plagued with unauthorized purchases and including millions of dollars in misspent funds." Yes, because their service was mismanaged ours will necessarily be mismanaged the same way. By the same logic, Since Republican Mark Souder had an affair, all Republicans are having affairs. Go go gadget logical fallacy!

Part two of our interview focuses on the “Split Fix” and will be posted tomorrow afternoon.

yay suburbs. I still believe my theory that doll houses caused the recession, is correct. Kids are programmed at a young age to want these big, suburban-style houses, and they try to get them no matter the cost (even if they can't really afford it). Want + greed is dangerous.

After work. Thank you. Lots of good places there. I forgot about all the stuff to the east of the euclid/mayfield intersection.

A friend of mine is moving back to the Cleveland area to attend Case. He's not to familiar with the area so we're going to walk around later tonight so he can get acquainted with it. I'm ok with navigating the area, but I've never paid attention to locations to eat (that aren't Sergio's, l'albatross, etc). I know Little Italy is right up the hill and Coventry is just a bit farther up the road. My question is do any of you have a recommendation of a place to grab a bite around Case?
  18. They're getting 5 million for a 5-year contract. I'd be happy with 4-5 million a year for rights to all 8 3C stations.

http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2010/06/northeast_ohio_towpath_blazes.html Northeast Ohio Towpath blazes new trail as it completes 40-mile stretch Published: Sunday, June 27, 2010, 9:00 AM CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Charmaine Miller walks five miles on the Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Heights every day. "You can't beat the scenery," the 56-year-old Cleveland woman says. Miller is like many of the walkers, bikers and runners who have grown accustomed to the trail since the first 20-mile section opened in 1993 within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Now the Towpath Trail has hit a milestone: You can travel a continuous 40 miles -- from Harvard Avenue in Cleveland to Canal Park in Akron.
  20. They're next to Theresa's Pizza and Jimmy John's
  21. That makes sense. You don't want things going wrong at the big party.
  22. ^^??? I walked in to Zoup! last week and there were people eating. In fact it was so crowded I promptly turned around and left.

Does anyone know if there's a bar around here that will have both crucial games on next Wednesday (6/23)? Slovenia vs England and USA vs Algeria are both on at 4pm. Come on 2pt win over Algeria to clinch.
  25. 14 million seems like a high number, 1.16 million a month. Does that include people traveling for business reasons?
