  1. The latest pictures are great - especially the "night shot" of QCSII. Looks like it was taken from Mt. Adams?
  2. Yes. The OMG avatar is cool. I just right-clicked and saved it....
  3. Thanks so much for the courteous & friendly update on the webcam issue. A non-defensive response is always appreciated.
  4. Great American Tower webcam still "stuck" on September 28th - any updates/status?
  5. OK, What's up with the QCSII cam? http://www.queencitysquare.com//url] Seems "stuck" on September 28th :? Really enjoyed the "night shots" of the construction site.
  6. Just checked the QCSII webcam - looks like the crane has been raised. Starting to peek above the skyline very nicely. 8-)
  7. Agreed. Too bad it's not from (God forbid) Northern Kentucky and/or related suburbs. We need more people downtown currently not working there.....maybe when (if?) the economy recovers.
  8. Still would love to have the webcam operational so I don't have to drive downtown a few times a week to see the progress. Anyone know status/timeline? Thanks.
  9. Any guess/speculation who it is? Wonder if the tenant is local or out of town? Guess we will know for sure tomorrow - unless someone has the scoop tonight. :-D
  10. So, who will be the new, large tenant being announced tomorrow (Thursday, July 23rd) at 1PM - according to article in the Cincinnati Business Courier? Any ideas?
  11. Ow! Harsh....but a very accurate assessment.
  12. Good - about time. Should be interesting on the "night" skyline next week. Anyone know how high? Maybe 100' (10 stories) or more? BTW: When is the webcam going to be operational again. It's been nearly 4 weeks (June 23rd) since it was last active? It really provided an excellent birds-eye view of the QCS II construction site and subsequent progress.
  13. Even Chicago? That would be cool - but almost unbelievable.
  14. The SOUTH tower crane - closest to the river - closest to the main building. As of today, it's still the same height as when it was first constructed. Should go higher as the building goes higher ....
  15. Ok, is it me or is it finally time to raise the main tower crane? From the looks of the QCS II webcam (this evening) there doesn't seem like a lot of room between the roof of the new building and the bottom of the tower crane operator's booth. I'm just sayin'......
  16. From the looks of things (progress/pictures) they should be raising the main tower crane much higher very soon - correct? That's the part that really grabs the attention of people driving in/out of the city - especially at night! 8-)
  17. On the positive side, I'm predicting you are wrong. Money is now beginning to "flow" again and as we all know this deal was done just under the wire before the financial crisis hit. I also firmly believe that Carl Linder would now allow this to happen - for many reasons. QCS II is a defining moment for Cincinnati - let's focus on that important fact.
  18. my question also - "show me the shovels" Let's get some dirt movin' on both sides of the river! "more tall cranes please".......
  19. Excellent article in today's Cincinnati Business Courier about QCS II http://cincinnati.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/stories/2008/11/17/story2.html?b=1226898000^1732026 Looks like steel will begin to rise after the first 5 floors - spring '09?
  20. Thanks for the picture of MM - now dinner (and probably breakfast) is ruined for - probably a lot of people - ugh!
