Show a pic of yourself!
That is the first time I heard that as a rationale for a haircut :) "Hey, can I have a hair style that will make me look more gay??" But young folks today wear their sexuality. They don't care. It's on the internet, facebook, myspace, etc. They call it "expressing and being true to themselves". ::) I don't think that that is necessarily true. I know a lot of breeders with the same type of hair style as ProkNo5. I think it is more of a trendy/hipster thing than it is a gay thing (Chet from the Real World Brooklyn comes to mind). BTW ProkNo5, I like it, but the angle you took it from (and the look on your face) makes you look like a creeper. lol, don't take that the wrong way. :-D

Suburban Sprawl News & Discussion
I would argue that it has more to do with a positive adult role model or active parent (whether that role model/parent is male or female makes no difference) than it has to do with a positive male role model/father. My father wasn't around and I don't sell drugs or turn to other illicit activities to make money. Of coarse, there are many different factors that lead to someone choosing (or indirectly choosing) a life of crime. Those include whether or not you have a positive adult role model, environment (at home, school, etc.), financial status (not a determinant, but a correlation; usually if first two are negative), and whether or not you seek instant gratification (as opposed to long term benefits; something that might go along with Oscar Lewis' "Culture of Poverty"), which might be influenced by many things. I think that legalization of some drugs (and regulating them), improvement of education, and a better funded/managed social service program(s) would lead to lower crime and a better standard of living (and might lead to the reversal of urban sprawl). Fixing the last two would be difficult, but I am sure it is possible.

CLEVELAND - Shake Shake Shake, Shaker Square! (and Fairmount and more)
I'm so confused. I thought Shaker Heights was a suburb? I think he meant to say on the outskirts of Cleveland. ;)

CLEVELAND - Shake Shake Shake, Shaker Square! (and Fairmount and more)
Absolutely horrendous! Who would want to live in the crappy, characterless Moreland Courts? :-P All joking aside, what a wonderful tour! Too bad a certain person, *cough* MTS *cough,* who lives in the area couldn't get out more and photograph the nabe himself. Thanks MayDay!

Cleveland - Spring Break '09
Spring break started on Friday and I decided that the first thing that I wanted to do was go up to Cleveland for the day. So, Saturday (21 March 2009) my friends and I made our way up to Cleveland, parking at W 150th (Puritas Station) and made our way to Ohio City! Made our way down Lorain and went to Unique Thrift Store (across from 5/3 Bank) to look for some ironic t-shirts  and then made our way Downtown. The skies cleared up! And it is cloudy again... Hunger started to set in, so we decided to make our way to Little Italy for dinner. Although the weather wasn't the best, I still had a good time and after our fun filled day my friend from Houston said, "I love Cleveland." He also said that he likes how Cleveland has a train that actually goes places. Goodbye Cleveland!

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Has anyone been inside Tower City lately? They have posters everywhere listing why the convention center should go there. It says $100 million reasons why the convention center should be built at TC then it lists several of the things that they have had the PD print. It is pretty pathetic.

Mansfield-Ashland: General Business & Economic News
^Yes, it will. I have several relatives who would lose their jobs if GM closed. Not to mention the negative effects that would have on other industries in Mansfield (Newman Tech and Jay Industries to name a few) as well as on area business in general.

What happened to Red Line Berea expansion?
Gildone - Thanks. I have driven through the area when I went to visit friends at BW and it is pretty ugly.

What happened to Red Line Berea expansion?
Is the proposal for an extension north of the airport (where all that vacant land sits around Cleveland Parkway, which is what the proposals that KJP shared with us makes it seem like) or is it south of the airport around the beginning of Front St (near the end of the Berea Freeway)?
