Ohio Smoking Ban
My parents smoke and they like the ban. My friends from out of state say that they wish that there states had bans on smoking in public. I don't think that it is a big deal. Is it really that hard to just walk out side and smoke then come back inside when you are done smoking? A "real" man, according to jmeck, would be able to handle that.

Race
LOCA, another piece of the puzzle, now I'm beginning to understand why you act the way you do. Damn MessyKan! Somebody check his papers! Haha, just don't check my great-grandpa's papers. :-D

Race
I voted Latino, but I probably should have voted mixed; my bad. My mother's side of the family is Hispanic (originally from Mexico) and my father's side of the family is Caucasian. I don't think that I look very Hispanic; I have light skin and dark hair. To break it down further, my great-grand parents are from Mexico and my grandpa was born here in the U.S. (or should I say E.E.U.U., lol). Grandpa married a white woman, had my mom, and then my mom had me with a white man. So, white I guess? I don't know, it is just another label.

Ohio LGBTQ+ News
What does that have to do with public policy? I am sick and tired of the Bible governing the lives of U.S. citizens. I am not a Christian, so why should YOUR personal beliefs determine what goes on in MY private life?

Married or Single?
With that attitude of yours, I'm not surprised. HA! What's your excuse? :-D ...and what I meant by that was that I am not bummed out about being single. Whatever happens happens. That does not mean that I am not putting myself out there, just that I am not going to obsess over getting into a relationship. Hope that clarifies things. lol

90's "The Blunder Years"
I think the most important event of the 90's was my birth. Just imagine a world without me in it. I know, frightening. Anyways...even Nickelodeon was better in the 90's. Nick had shows like Salute Your Shorts, Clarissa Explains it All, Alex Mack, Are You Afraid of the Dark (which scared the 7 year old sh!t out if me), The Rugrats, Doug, Hey Arnold, etc. Now Nick has crappy shows like Zoey 101 and more trashy shows (am I showing my age? lol). I remember watching the Real World with my parents (my parents were in there mid to late 20's). I vaguely remember watching My So Called Life with my mom as well as Party of Five. Then who could forget the 1997 hit movie Titanic? I loved that movie and watched it over and over again after it came out on VHS. As far as music goes, well...I have no clue why my mom didn't know I was gay sooner (Da*m you Britney Spears and Spice Girls!). However, I also really liked the Goo Goo Dolls, Sheryl Crow, Third Eye Blind, No Doubt, Paula Cole, and the list goes on. Granted, a lot of my memories come form the later half of the 90's, but I think I still have the authority to make the claim that the 90's were amazing. I also remember the excitement at the end of the 90's and the whole Y2K thing. 1999 was also the first time I got to go to a foreign country, which I will always remember.

No I didn't. But I did have several members only jackets. Haha, you would.

The 80s
I was born in 1990. :) I think I am one of the youngest (if not the youngest) forum members. However, my baby pictures display some horrible remnants of 80's fashion.

Random Cleveland
Me! Same here! I mean, the square is nice and all, but I like downtown, Ohio City, Tremont, and Detroit Shoreway more than the square. Not to mention MTS lives on the square, which is enough to persuade any urban enthusiast to steer clear. ;)

I doubt he has, otherwise he would have a better impression of the square.

Share Your Holiday Decorations (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc)
That is kii-kii!!! Translation please? Really, really funny! ;D I tend to forget not everyone here speaks Gayanese. I don't speak "gayanese" either, EPIC FAIL! EDIT: To get back on topic, I don't have any decorations in my dorm, but I am sure that my family will have the house all done up for the winter solstice when I get home for winter break.

What is your geeky hobby you usually don't tell people about?
My geeky hobby would be contributing to this site. However, I don't really keep it a secret, I just fail to elaborate about the site. I basically make it seem as if all there is to do is post photos of urban areas in Ohio, which isn't that bad, right? Only one friend knows how involved this site is when it comes to urban issues. Some of the "geeky" hobbies listed sound more like guilty pleasures, like watching a certain show (Soap Operas for example). I would have to say that my guilty pleasures are watching Sex and the City, QAF, and foreign soap operas such as Verboten Liebe or Hollyoaks.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Sunday's game was the first professional football game I have ever been to. For a minute there, I thought we were going to win. Although we lost, it was still an exciting game.

Area realtors buck trend: Sales figures in Mansfield up 23 percent over one year ago By LISA MILLER • News Journal • November 29, 2008 MANSFIELD -- For months, the words "tough" and "real estate market" have been pretty much joined at the hip. Problems blamed on sub-prime mortgages accompanied by a struggling economy have made selling houses a tough business. [email protected] 419-521-7240
