  1. One Night In Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Skip a couple streets Stopped at Phnom Penh for dinner (awesome food btw) and then went downtown. Walked to the WHD, which was nice but I realized that groups of white, male yuppies out for a night on the town are the biggest pendejos in the world. Despite that revelation, the amount of activity in the WHD and E. 4th on a week night was pretty exciting. We went back to the hotel, slept, checked out and then made our way to Little Italy and the Lakeside Cemetary. Part 5
  2. One Night In Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Stonehenge? Why, hello Mr. Squirrel After visiting Tremont (a very nice and friendly neighborhood with an artsy/laid back feel), we made our way back to Ohio City. Part 4
  3. One Night In Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 The Gordon Square Arts District We then made our way down W. 65th St. to Ecovillage Ecovillage I tried to hide the power lines with this shot. :-D It was nearing time to check in, so we headed back to the hotel. After everything was taken care of, we got back on the redline and headed for W. 25th St. and then on to Tremont. Part 3
  4. One Night In Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 My friend and I took a two day trip up to Cleveland and spent our first day on the west side. We took the redline from Puritas (which was by our hotel, La Quinta) to West Blvd., walked down Detroit Ave. and made our way to Battery Park. We really wanted to go to the lake, so we walked looking for some type of underpass that lead to it. However, we didn't notice the one in Battery Park. We were very impressed with Edgewater Park After having an awesome time in the park, we decided to head back (this time using the Battery Park underpass, which is need of a major over hall) and made our way to the Gordon Square Arts District. Part 2

Thanks! Ink- Mansfield doesn't have any ghettos. Just kidding. I plan on going to get pictures of the 'ghettos' of Mansfield. Oh, and parts of the North Lake area is somewhat rundown, I just didn't go down all of the streets.

Thanks! This neighborhood gets a bad rap, but it isn't as bad as some people think it is. I mean, there are bad parts, but most of the homes are in good condition. I am glad that you like it.

Welcome to the Sherman Estate District! Sorry that this is blurry. Do you have Tyger Pride? (Yes Tyger, if you don't get it, look up the English poet William Blake) Along 4th St. Back into the Sherman Estate Along Park Ave. (Isn't this house amazing?) Thanks. BTW, some of those beach pictures are of the same beach, just a different view.
  15. Thanks everyone! Buckeye1- Thanks for all the information, even if it was to much. But I did ask. lol I really like Little Italy as well. We ate at Mama Santa and had no room left for dessert. Maybe I will go to Corbo's Bakery next time I am there.
  16. Thanks. I like that about Cleveland as well.
  17. Thanks, I am glad that you all enjoyed my photos. I wish that I could have spent more time checking out other parts of OC, but my friend was tired and wanted lunch so we just headed back towards Market Square.
  18. Didn't think of that, but I am not sure if any of my friends have internet access on their phones. I could, but I would have to download and pay for it. Maybe I should just add RTA to my contact list.
  19. I usually do, but we didn't know when the next bus from the zoo to Public Square would arrive. I really wish that we would have waited. I'll know better next time. lol
  20. Thanks. It really was perfect whether, compared to when we were up in Cleveland a week before this visit. My friends and I had went to the Cleveland Zoo and decided that we wanted to eat downtown and walk around. So, I drive there and go crazy looking for a parking spot. I finally found a parallel spot near the corner of 3rd St. and Lakeside Ave. As we are getting out of the car looking for change, a traffic cop or some type of official tells us that you can't park there after four. Then it starts to rain like cats and dogs and I have to drive around looking for a parking spot not able to see where I am going. I end up driving around the Brown's Stadium and then pull into a parking lot. None of us could find where to pay for the parking (all the other cars had tags) and I didn't want to leave my mom's car there. So I had my friend get us out of the parking lot and when she turns onto Summit, we realize that that takes you onto the coastal highway thing. We eventually get off somewhere near Ohio City, and drive down the Detroit/Superior bridge. We get close to the Tower City underground parking area, but my friend misses the entrance, mass chaos ensues and somewhere on Superior near the live-work lofts we change drivers, I make my way towards I-90 (we gave up on the idea of staying downtown) where we hit rush hour traffic. Horrible experience especially in the rain. Reminded me why I hate driving. So, I was really happy to not have to deal with any of that on this visit. lol :-D
  21. Thanks. We were going to make our way to Tremont, but my friend was getting tired (no sleep the night before and she wore the wrong shoes for walking everywhere) so we decided not to go. Hopefully I can go there the next time I am in Cleveland.
  22. Thanks. Although my photos don't show it, there were a lot of people at the mall (well, compared to the last time I was there) and Public Square.
  23. Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 The train ride was so nice, I didn't have to worry about driving, parking, etc. The walk through Little Italy was really nice and the neighborhood far surpassed my expectations. Although Baltimore's Little Italy is nice, Cleveland's is a lot better. What's the story with this church? I don't know why this is diagonal, I think I tripped. :? My friend and I loved the neighborhood. We went into the Pennello Gallery where I bought an amazing photo. The lady there was awesome and had some amazing paintings (well out of my price range). She also new Don Nash from Mansfield. We then had dinner at Mama Santa, the waitress was so nice and the food was awesome. After our visit to Little Italy we made the train ride back to my car and then made our way back to Mansfield. I can't wait to go back to Cleveland.
  24. Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 After that long walk, we sat in the park type thing across from the Jake....I mean Progressive Field and then made our way around the city. My friend thought that I tricked her when I said we were going to the mall :-D We then made our way to Tower City to stop at the mall (which made her happy) and then to make our way to Little Italy.
  25. Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 After dropping a friend off at the Akron-Canton Airport (Tuesday, June, 15th), my other friend and I decided to go to Cleveland. We made our way to the Puritas Park-and Ride (I didn't know of any others that were closer). We took the rapid to Ohio City and walked around. A nice community garden I love this house, too bad I didn't get a good picture of it. Awesome Library After having lunch we decided to make our way downtown via the Carnegie Ave. Bridge. Bye Bye Ohio City Next Downtown Cleveland
