Barceló - Mexico
Barceló is the resort that my family and I stayed at when we were in Mexico. It is about 30 minutes south of Playa del Carmen and is a hour south of Cancun. It is a huge resort with 4 different classes of hotel options. We stayed at the Maya Beach section that we got through Apple Vacations in Cleveland. It was the best section in my opinion. The beach was nicer, the bartenders were friendly, and the drinks were better. It was a little overcast early in the day This is the Palace Hotel section of the resort. It is huge and if your not careful you could get lost. lol

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
My friend and I parked at Puritas today and took the train around the city and she commented on how nice it was to not have to drive around the city, deal with traffic, unfamiliar roads, finding parking, etc. Overall, we had a great experience using the trains, no ticket problems. Also, the RTA employees were awesome. Just thought you all would like to know.

Current
I love Current, especially their vanguard pods. Current does a better job at presenting global issues/views than anything else on cable. I highly recommend checking it out on tv or the internet.

I wish I could have spent more time at Playa del Carmen, but we only went there for one night (we walked around and then went to Señor Frogs). Yes, I went to Tulum and loved it. I am about to post those pictures soon.

Playa del Carmen, Mexico
About two weeks ago I was in Mexico for vacation and we visited the city of Playa del Carmen in the Rivera Maya. Playa del Carmen was originally a fishing town, but with it's ferry service to Cozumel, the city has seen a lot of development from increased tourism (for more info go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playa_del_Carmen).
