  1. Thanks, I am really glad that you all like my pictures. I am looking forward to coming back up to Cleveland and do more exploring of Ohio City.
  2. Around Cleveland Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six The final destination of my adventure around the wonderful city of Cleveland, Shaker Square. I would have loved to have spent more time exploring, but I was tired, hungry, and had to start making my way back home. I am sorry about the lack of pictures. By the time i reached Shaker Square, I wasn't really in the mood to take pictures, otherwise there would have been more/better pictures. This concludes my trip Around Cleveland, can't wait to go back.
  3. Around Cleveland Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six As my friend and I made our way back to Downtown Cleveland from Tyler Village, we decided to check out the CSU campus and to walk along Euclid Ave. We then went to Tower City to take the train to Shaker Square (Part Six). Just wanted to say that I HATE his commercials. Now onto CSU... The Fortress After all that walking, we were ready to sit down and we welcomed the cushioned seats of the Green line as we made our way to Shaker Square.
  4. Around Cleveland Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six The following photos were taken in Midtown (The Quadrangle?) between E. 12th St. and E. 38th St., about a 2 mile stretch between Downtown Cleveland and Tyler Village. Coming up... Part Five: CSU and Euclid Ave.
  5. Great pictures, they make me long for warmer weather and trees with leaves. :)
  6. ^^Yeah, I like bridges. And that bottle was actually in the grass, I just set it on top of the rail to take a picture of it, but at least whoever owned the bottle had the courtesy to drink it all before just leaving it there. ^Thanks
  7. Thanks, I am glad that you all like my pictures. Those of you that live in Cleveland, you all are so lucky. After this last trip, I can't wait until I have the opportunity to move to Cleveland. Also, I can't understand why I always hear such negative things about Cleveland. The neighborhoods in Cleveland, although not all are perfect, are diverse and filled with friendly people. Cleveland has one of the best transportation systems in the U.S. (although some say it is slow, at least you don't have to pay for parking or waste the day away looking for parking). Granted it needs more funding, but what U.S. transit system doesn't? Cleveland also has all of the cultural amenities anyone could ever need as well as many different dining options. I don't know much about the retail aspect of Cleveland, but it seems that things could only get better.
  8. Around Cleveland Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six After leaving the flats, my friend and I went to the WHD. We then made our way around downtown looking for Sapporo Sushi (1940 E. 6Th. St.). After getting a little disoriented, I finally remembered where it was, so we went there and had the best sushi EVER! After we did that we wandered along the streets and eventually headed for Midtown (Quadrangle?), which will be in Part Four. As I was taking the picture above, this guy posed for me and told me to take a picture. After taking the above picture, I told him to pose again and then I took a picture of him. It seems that whenever I come to Cleveland, I meet some really nice, friendly people. Coming up... Part Four: Midtown
  9. Around Cleveland Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six After walking around Ohio City, my friend and I made our way to the flats. This is my friend who joined me in my Cleveland adventure. I was impressed with the Stonebridge buildings and the views from that side of the flats were amazing. Coming up... Part Three: The WHD and Downtown
  10. Around Cleveland Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six On Wednesday (March 26th, 2008) my friend and I took a trip up to Cleveland. We parked the car at a Park-and-Ride and took the train to the West 25th St. station in Ohio City. Here are the pictures that I took. I really liked Ohio City and thought that the West Side Market was amazing. So many people were there and everything smelled wonderful. Next time I go up to Cleveland, I want to explore more of Ohio City. Coming up - Part 2: The Flats

    Here is mine. Enjoy!
  12. That's cool. I hope that they save the school.
  13. I really wanted to go up the steps, but they were blocked off and there were guards watching over everyone. :(

Nice Pictures. The Kehoe Center is really nice inside. It is not just a satellite of NCSC, but it is also home to Pioneer, a vocational/tech prep school.

I want to go to Dayton now. Great shots.
  16. My friend got scolded for taking pictures with his phone at The Mansfield Memorial Museum. Apparently some people have done that then posted the pictures online or sold them, giving no money to the museum. My friend continued after he left. :)
  17. Oh, didn't realize that you couldn't take pictures in a library.
  18. Thanks. Why did you get kicked out of library?
  19. Day Two - So Hot, So Humid Don't know which is my favorite shot
  20. Day One - After the Nationals Game (They actually won *gasp*)
  21. Thats also one of my favorite pictures.
  22. KJP- Yeah, I know about the buses and the Urban Collaborative. Those are some of the reasons why I choose KSU. I plan to major in architecture and when I go for my masters I want to go through the graduate program at the CUDC. lol. If architecture doesn't pan out, my fall backs are urban planning or journalism. Thanks.
  23. Thanks I am a senior in high school in Mansfield and I start at Kent State in the fall. After I graduate from Kent, I would like to move to Cleveland.

Although I live about a mile away from my high school, it is easier for me to just drive. There are NO sidewalks where I live and the route I would have to take to get to school isn't very safe for pedestrians. Not to mention there is a highway that lies between my neighborhood and my high school, forcing me to go out of my way to cross it. To make up for this, I take a couple of my friends home from school.
