My trip to Cleveland - November 21, 2007
Although it wasn't the nicest of days, weather wise, I really enjoyed myself. I didn't take pictures of everything that I saw because I was too busy looking around. The trip to Cleveland was amazing. I plan on moving to Cleveland after I graduate from college.

If you are ever in Mansfield and want to learn more about the city, visit The Mansfield Memorial Museum. It is free and really interesting.

Amazing shots! I really like the one where the chair is against the wall by the window (3rd from last).

I really dislike this city for demolishing the courthouse. Its replacement is terrible.

Mansfield's Central Park District
It was demolished in the 70's because it was, according to my CAD teacher, losing money "hand over fist". The man who owned it at the time was partnered with Don Nash and they decided to demolish the building due to its poor condition, financial instability, and because there was no longer a market for a downtown hotel. Interestingly enough, after selling the property to Richland Bank, they built the Holiday Inn right down the street. Many believe that the Leland didn't need to be demolished. The structure had to be in relatively good condition since it took them about 5-10 times before the building started to come down. The Leland is missed so much that for our bicentennial celebration, they are having "Dinner at the Leland", which means a banquet in the parking lot.

Yes, they still have the basketball court. That's behind the court house and the expansion (the new jail) is across the street connected by a pedestrian bridge.

Thanks. Do all of the photos show up for all of you? The photos stop at the library for me.

Mansfield's Central Park District
Here are some pictures that I have taken over the past year in Mansfield's Central Park District. Our Lovely Court House. And the addition to the court house. An existing business is expanding and moving into the old Basil Room (Former Reed's Department Store) Getting Ready for their Open House Athens is the best. If you are ever in Mansfield, you need to go here. The former home of the Leland Hotel. Yay for parking! But Don Nash needed a reason to build the Holiday Inn and Richland Bank needed more parking for this monstrosity. Over looking Downtown, the Flats, and all the way out to the Industrial Park. A picture of my favorite building from the roof of the Barington One Building.

Baltimore, MD.
mrnyc- That part of Baltimore isn't anything special, but the places like Little Italy and Fells Point are very unique and have a sense of place. I even considered going to college at the University of Maryland or eventually moving there. However, I think that I would rather move to Cleveland.

Here are some pictures from my trip to Baltimore. Inside the aquarium Picture of a Picture Picture of a Picture Across the Harbor All of these pictures are from Inner Harbor. I also went to Little Italy and Fells Point, but I don't have any pictures from there. I am mad at myself for not getting pictures there because they were by favorite parts of Baltimore.
