  1. WTF?! You have got to be kidding.
  2. It would be nice if P&G added another Boob to the twin towers downtown. 3 boobs are better than 2 :wink2:
  3. I can't remeber which building it is,might have to go and take a looksee. Old Fairfax Ford Plant Being Destroyed Reported by: 9News Web produced by: Mark Sickmiller Photographed by: 9News 1/28/2005 12:25:39 PM A big chunk of Fairfax history will soon be gone. Demolition began Friday morning on the old Ford transmission plant on Red Bank Road. The 564,000 square foot facility is being knocked down as part of a redevelopment project headed by the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority.
  4. I like old original exterior shells with modern interiors..I would never buy a unit there, I'm not even interested to go and look at it by that rendering.
  5. I don't like it! It should be restored to it's original condition on the exterior. Bahhh!
  6. Im sorry to hear about your car that really sucks! I was thinking th same thing exactly about a coffee house in one of the vacant buildings. Developers were trying to get a restraunt in the 1 story building next to the kinsey flats last I heard.
  7. I have to agree with that statement, I saw a Man throw a brick into the back window of a car on plum st while brushing my teeth. I was amazed how fast it happened. The man smashed the brick into the window jumped in retrieved the purse and was running down plum in about 4 seconds flat . I always left my cigarette tray open and glove box open and never had a problem. The bums will steal pennies out of your ashtray. It's not worth the cost of reparing a window so take everything out of sight.
  8. NOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!! Dammit my source was right about that building... they had better fill in this spot with another size building. This is a sad day for fourth st...please join me in a moment of silence..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

West chester is the armpit of cincinnati
  12. The city would have more money if they would cut some funds to the bums who are leeches sucking the green out of our coffers. Less money for the degenerates is key. Young and old people move to the city for the old architecture not for cookie cutter homes in the burbs.
  13. That was a real heart break.. Peebles corner area needs someTLC before more of it's buildings come down. I know it was the funeral homes property but to have a parking lot put there is just awful! I get bummed everytime I go past there so I try to avoid that area for now.
  14. I shouldn't complain about the partial demolition since the building is being used for adaptive reuse and made into condos. This will be a great oppurtunity for new residences in Walnut Hills. It is a real shame that the church up the street got the wrecking ball. Hopefully the tower will be saved. The church like all Hannaford creations to me are Cincinnati's Gems of architecture that need to be preserved.
  15. If your going to live in downtown cincinnati, Fourth st is the best place, it is the most active and safe area downtown. I really loved living on that street! Bengal sundays can be a bit crazy, WHO-DEYS will drive you nuts, but it's worth the experience.
  16. The addition looked very similar to the nearby Alexandria apartments. http://www.wcpo.com/news/2005/local/01/18/noon/demolition.jpg
  17. Miltf heaven! :-D
  18. :x didn't know it would involve any demolition.. I happen to like the back half of that building dangit! School Torn Down In E. Walnut Hills RELATED PICTURES Click for larger images. Demolition began Tuesday morning (WCPO/WCPO.com) 31 condos will be constructed on the land (WCPO/WCPO.com) Reported by: 9News Web produced by: Mark Sickmiller Photographed by: 9News Last updated: 1/18/2005 11:59:09 AM Part of an East Walnut Hills eyesore started coming down Tuesday morning, to make room for new condominiums. The tear-down is part of ongoing urban development in the neighborhood. Crews are tearing down the back portion of the original Walnut Hills High School, built in 1893, and located at the intersection of Ashland Avenue and Victory Parkway. The formerly abandoned landmark will soon be the "Schoolhouse Loft Condominiums." The building will hold 31 condos, starting in the $140,000s. The portion demolished Tuesday was an extension to the old school, and housed the gymnasium and cafeteria
  19. I remember a while back there was talk of an indoor skiing area, can't remember if it was Wilmington or Mason. Anybody remember hearing about that?
  20. Went to rookwood last weekend if they want to get rid of the teenagers they should get rid of Old Navy.
  21. 70 hours a week doesnt pay the bills? they should work 80 hours a week or look for a better job. Better yet stop having kids if you can't afford them.
  22. It's funny seeing college kids taking pics of the mill creek where spring grove crosses the creek..you can see them thinking EVil corporations!! MSD is the real polluter but it doesnt look as cool because splooge isnt shooting out of the concrete walls like at P&G. one thing is for sure though I wouldnt eat the fish or swim in that creek
  23. You have friends??? :-D JK It is only my opinion you can agree or disagree.I am involed in social work and I am on the front lines...there are some genuine people who can and should be given assitance, the physically and mentally handicapped and elderly..thats it!! everybody else should not get squat.

  25. I saw my old apartment hehe! nice shots.. I heard some sad news about the building to the right of the old CGL&C CO. building, the one that is for sale by owner. From what I have heard it is condemned and slated for demolition..It is the last building on west fourth that is vacant...It is going to be turned into a parking lot..NOOOOO!
