Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I wonder if using the 1% number for CBD living if we really should only look at the MSA rather than CSA. Only because Akron has its own CBD which I assume would count toward the 1% of CBD residents.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
^ The short answer is yes. however, it would affect only their real estate arm. They operate as a separate legal entity from the theater operations.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
^^^ I think Bob Stark might have said that about 1% in CBD but it is also backed up by a CSU study by Dr. Bier.

Good info. Never thought about the insurance aspect. Perhaps the difference with condo units is that the individual condo owner assumes the liability of the balcony.

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
Seems like a big deal to me. The office will serve surrounding states. This should bring more lending capital into the region. Any idea how much space they're leasing. I didn't see it in the article?

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
That doesn't mean there is a vacancy. It could mean that tenants have notified the property manager that they will not renew their leases.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
^ No offense man...but you have to take off your blinders. I'm a huge Cavs fan but the Warriors are unstoppable.
-
Cleveland Cavs Discussion
^ I think the Cavs were exhausted by the end of the game because of the need to play at a nearly perfect level until then.
-
Cleveland Cavs Discussion
^ I think the Cavs are playing like crap partly because the Warriors are on another level.

Canal Basin Park and Lake Link Trail
If you plan right you could bike from the flats to peninsula and ride the train back to rockside and ride to the flats on bike.

Canal Basin Park and Lake Link Trail
^ I have not been to that section yet to be honest. When I ride the towpath I usually go to Rockside and ride south to Peninsula and back.
-
Canal Basin Park and Lake Link Trail
I think that this will be a very cool section of trail once connected to the overall Towpath trail. The industrial feel of the area will provide a unique experience. I think as some of the trees mature and hopefully more development happens the overall aesthetic should improve.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
^ I can't believe I am excited for this but I am. I get a weird craving for Taco Bell sometimes. It reminds me of late night munchy runs of my youth when I may or may not have been under the influence of a controlled substance.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
^^^ I think that's a fair assessment for the area. Although, you are correct that Detroit Avenue drops off quickly going west after around Lake Ave., I think there is some decent momentum going east with new restaurant/retail Astoria around 54th which is slowly connecting D/S to OC along Detroit. Urban development in Cleveland moves slowly.

Cleveland Mayoral Race 2017
^ His consequences are that he served time in prison. He has served on council since then. I think he has proven himself rehabilitated.
