Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
^ passing cruisers can't see crime in 5ge blind alleys behind buildings when they are set back from street. Your argument needs to be backed by evidence or it should die. The point is moot on this project because Daves is being built up to the street.

^ This is why sometimes media reporting can be detrimental. Once he knew that the cell phone was being pinged he knew to ditch it or turn it off.

That is quite strange. I just heard about it on the radio on my way home. Highly unusual for a random murder. Let's hope they get him off the streets.

Daves will be built up to Chester. Parking to the side and behind. The building might be oriented with the entrance facing west.

I think since the issue was really United's poor planning they should have offered more money for people to volunteer. The free market solution here is fr United to compensate appropriately based on what passengers would accept. They shouldn't use state authority to enforce civil matters.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
Are they going to want to combine their research and corporate offices to one location? If so, i think a site around E. 17/18 and St Clair could suit them well. This would open up their river front site for development and the landmark for residential conversion.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
I don't think we will see an increase of 600 in Cleveland. There may be some redundancy. Maybe 400 new jobs in Cleveland. Othereise, I agree they'll need some new space. I am hoping they intend to stay downtown.

Airline Industry News and Discussion
^ The private citizen's past is not important for public interest. United were poor actors here and they should learn from this. I despise when private citizens have their name dragged through the mud. This man did nothing wrong.

I lay the blame completely on United here. They should've offered more money to passengers to volunteer. Penny wise pound foolish.

^ TJ Dow is worthless. I hope Basher Jones can oust him. I've had the displeasure of meeting Mr. Dow regarding a project in his ward. Useless human being.

Cleveland: Local Media News & Discussion
There are ways to combat that besides letting the peanut gallery spew off nonsense in the comment thread. It is interesting that the PD curated the comments on the article regarding O'Brien's retirement. hey believe that veiled racist and homophobia is OK but don;t dare say bad things about St. O'Brien.

I think build able lots are being created with some of the demos. Hilliard theatre is gone with a nice sized parcel. The lakewood hospital site is about 6 acres for private development. There are infill lots with potential too. I think Knez is planning some infill housing.
