  1. ^ Columbus has been doing a good job from what I've seen with adapting new construction into an urban form. This is maybe because I only usually visit the more urban parts of Columbus. Has Columbus instituted a form-based code of some sort?
  2. The third storefront will be an asian-fusion fast casual concept called Balance Grill.
  3. Great pics KJP[/member].
  4. Small town... :) I've heard people who relocate to Cleveland refer to Cleveland as a big small town. Or is it a small big city.
  5. I think the building will actually be taller than the current height of the crane.
  6. Central Division Champs!

I am not a fan at all of MBE quotas because they don't fix what they are supposed to fix. They are meant to help minority businesses who had historically been left out of a lot of union trade jobs and therefor less able to learn trades. This is turn created a white pipeline of businesses that dominated the construction industry. The MBE quotas merely support the few large MBE firms that get all of the MBE carve outs. They do nothing to repair the actual issue.

This thread serves no real purpose and should just die.
  9. I think annexation hugely explains population gains at the city level. Especially annexations which happened in the timeline that we are discussing here.
  10. ^ I also wonder is proximity to Chicago helps Milwaukee. The two metros nearly run into each other.
  11. ^ Like the hospital/medical center and Dave's Supermarket which is technically on Chester but many patrons will arrive on the Healthline.
  12. East and south to the innerbelt. CSU is considered Downtown.
  13. I believe that DCA uses the city's boundaries Cuyahoga River, Lake Erie and Innerbelt. They might also include Stonebridge in their numbers too.

When Hyundai first entered the US market their products were not very reliable and were known to be cheap and inferior. I think they have made huge strides since then while the usual stalwarts of quality (Honda and Toyota) have rested on their laurels. I've seen it written somewhere that Hyundai is the "new Honda. I think there might be some truth to that.
  15. I would consider 1901 to be the beginning of the "modern" era as well.
  16. ^ let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Let's just reflect on what we have and where we are. There has been some sign of the rental market softening on the coasts so that's something to keep an eye on. The country as a whole is also overdue for a recession too.
  17. ^ It appears that they did not complete the 9 inning game. And the official rules of the time stated that incomplete games had to be replayed from scratch and the game was replayed the next day. MLB did not record tie games as official games. The Giants did win those games during a 31 game home stand though but those were the rules of the time.
  18. ^ I stand corrected. I did not realize that the tie game was made up. Indians just need to win 5 more then.
  19. Also the $121MM is over a 30 year time frame. The school district is likely better off with a guaranteed $56MM than a shot $121 over 30 years.
  20. Longest win streak in the history of baseball. #rolltribe
  21. I'm not sure. I talked to the crane operator briefly on Tuesday .
  22. No. There will be another section added once they reach the max height of the current crane
  23. There's a crane at the Q now
  24. everyone keep saying that they have their financing but has the financing closed? This alone can take a year depending on the lender and attorneys involved.
