Cincinnati: Downtown: Court Street Developments and News
@Troeros2Have you heard anything on Garfield St? I had heard that was moving fast to be next after Court St., but it went silent after the initial conversation.

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
CincyIntheKnow replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & ConstructionAgreed. Boca is more French "inspired" than an actual French restaurant.

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
CincyIntheKnow replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & ConstructionI am always hesitant when outside restaurant groups are ambitious in this market. I think the loss of L and Table meant there was a French cuisine void in the city, and this a great location for it.

Blue Ash: Development and News
I doubt you will see it extended to the traffic circle. No one will want that kind of traffic directly linked to the residential subdivision

CincyIntheKnow replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & Construction75 was built on the Miami Erie Canal. Lockland was where the locks were. there were north bound and south bound locks for the canal.

Cincinnati: Northside: Development and News
CincyIntheKnow replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & ConstructionSo other than an argument about semantics, what are you trying to say? The development should be less dense?

Cincinnati: Northside: Development and News
CincyIntheKnow replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & ConstructionIt is a very steep site, and the parking requirements are driving a good portion of the development plan, so most of the green space is unbuildable. I agree it is suburban design... but it is in a residential suburb.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
Educated guesses based on info I am hearing... -3CDC as developer, so you know that parking (big income generator for them) will be involved. -My understanding is that Garfield will be treated as the new Court St. (Think development plan rather than individual project) -Don't get too attached to any developable land -Vine alterations would have no bearing, but I am hearing rumors of Garfield alteration -That seems reasonable

Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
Rumor has it we are looking at a future substantial development for this site. Think along the lines of 4th and Race. They are still in property acquisition phase, but expect this to be the next 3CDC focus after Court St.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
CincyIntheKnow replied to The_Cincinnati_Kid's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & ConstructionNot a fan of the material for the corner lighter gray building, but otherwise a considerable improvement. This would be a great addition to the neighborhood.

Cincinnati: Northside: Development and News
CincyIntheKnow replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & ConstructionShe mentions an 8' grade change along Knowlton Street in the video, but the renderings don't seem to acknowledge this. A assume that the renderings are hidden line to give them design flexibility.

We walked the whole thing, double stroller in tow. A ton of people on the sidewalks, but everyone was courteous and smiling. Traffic was indeed horrendous.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
Maybe the RFP was pulled because they may need to increase the room count, as it is no guarantee that a new hotel is built on the Millenium site. Maybe 84.51 expands over the convention center so 3CDC can keep their garage?
