Cincinnati requires folks to be licensed to panhandle. An appalling violation of the first amendment, in my opinion...from another thread:
  7. That is fantastic!
  8. Very nice! Great combination, and great shots from a beautiful-looking day!

Hard core + geek = having a dip in while playing your clarinet at band camp.
  10. you are talking about areas where the demand for housing is extremely high. Places where all of the ideal sites are already developed so people looking for a bargain live in less-than-ideal sites. That's not Cincinnati. Yes - but it does seem like all the new construction is priced well out of the starter-condo range - it's mostly half a million and up. I imagine some $180K - $200K condo's with reasonable amenities would get snapped up, highway cap or not. Though maybe I'm out of date on the market of late? ...also, high-res images available here.
  11. The benches one - fan-frickin'-tastic! What a great shot...captures a beautiful park during a beautiful time of year! Makes me think of Christmas!
  12. Utterly fantastic thread!
  13. Fantastic - great shots!
  14. Don't know if the building itself has a name, but it's Riverview Senior Center, 2538 Hackberry, built in 1930 - I dug that up to correct my thread views from the Overlook at Eden Park. Here's one of those images labeled: ...and here's a map: Blue = The Edgecliff Yellow = River Terrace Green = Riverview Senior Center Orange = The Madison
  15. ...because it's someone else's responsibility to repair! Fantastic shots - yeah, the second one does make me miss summer already!
  16. Shoot - missed that! I need to add Building-Cincinnati.com to my regular reading list! I can't get to your archive pages right now - google is upset, I guess...but I'll check back...
  17. Yay! Now we just need high speed rail connecting everything so you don't have to zombie-drive, and we could get more MayDay pictures of our beloved cities!
  18. Just drove past 2904 Park Avenue tonight, which is at the corner of Park and Chapel in Walnut Hills, to find that it's been demolished! Gah! I dug the building because it had the street names carved right in the corner: Here are the images of it from the tax assessor's site:
  19. You're from the hood, stupid - what type of facts are those?
  20. Sorry, I was just trying to throw another funny quote out from 99 Problems...wasn't trying to say you should have jumped a cop or something...
  21. Yeah, I know the type - loud as a motorbike, but couldn't bust a grape in a food fight...
  22. Looks like...fun? Maybe? Great shots, though!
  23. We'll see how smart you are when the K9 comes...

    Fantastic...great observation!
  25. Yeah, Pho Paris is alive, well, and serving extremely tasty food! And while part of the reason for the move is surely that he thought it wasn't doing the business that it could, another part of the reason is that everything else he has is clustered right around downtown - but Pho Paris was eight miles away. It really became either the red-headed stepchild that got neglected, or it was the Lost Sheep that kept him away from all the other places...
