  1. Lol, the "no" signs I've seen say "protect parent rights." Gotta love it.
  2. Doesn't registration here require proof of address, eg. a utility bill, in addition to ID?
  3. I personally preferred the very first design. I thought that the later flirtation with 15-16 stories was to satisfy TMUD requirements, and that choice did not work out as hoped. I agree with those who question the 7th floor design, presumably the arched windows, which are not bad per se, but IMO clash with the rest of the building. Ironically, it appears that the setback from W 25th, which was put in to prevent bockage of the view of St. Malachi, and killed the original design, is gone.
  4. This is reminiscent of "The Decline and Fall of NuCLEus."
  5. If rules, purporting to support "election integrity," produce known disadvantages for certain segments of society to give one side an electoral advantage, they are corrupt. This includes, but is not limited to, rules regarding early voting, vote by mail, drop box availability, and functional voting machine availability.
  6. The "both_sides_ing" in the quoted post does not consider the relative merit and severity of the post-election complaints (Gore, Abrams, Lake etc.) and public reactions to those complaints. To claim "both sides do it" and not analyze and verify the cases presented as examples often results in false equivalencies.
  7. Looking at NYC's Times Square, compared to Playhouse Square here, the buildings of Times Square are plastered with large, colorful ads, which help light them up. At Playhouse Square, there are none. Almost all of the lighting is from PSC signage. I was curious if this is intentional.
  8. It's not the same, but it makes me think of Reedy Creek.
  9. Tauck tour, today. Passengers were being picked up by charter buses. ex
  10. Jefferson between Tremont and the river
  11. It closed previously at the Beachwood Place Co-hatch.
  12. Our current widebody arrivals are generally diversions, but it's hard to believe that they would build new councourses that exclude widebodies. I just wish that economy airplane seats could better accommodate wide bodies.
  13. Haven't the number of daily departures and nonstop destinations declined somewhat lately relative to Columbus and Cincinnati?
  14. We should do a "guess the average rent per square foot." I start the bidding at $3.25, lol.
  15. Is the issue that they don't have frontage on Lorain Ave. commensurate with the area in back?
  16. Is their garage designed such that it could be built upon?
  17. After seeing all of the generic four story specials going up around town, this project is actually exhilarating to look at
  18. Think of all of those mayors, council members, chiefs and directors, from 57 municipalites out of work. Oh, the humanity!
  19. Closeups, Carter Rd was open Sunday.
  20. Anyone been to the restaurant in the Leader Building?
  21. Don't forget that nasty four letter word: S-N-O-W.
  22. LOL: It must be the "Stairway to Heaven," (Neil Sedaka or Led Zeppelin). Seriously though, I am kind of liking the designs.
