Toronto: Developments and News
Have you traveled much north of the 401, west on the QEW toward Hamilton, in Peale, Durham, Brampton, Markham, or through the Regional Municipality of York? If you do, you will see single family homes and town homes, strip centers and malls, and industrial parks galore, just like here. Interestingly, while many inner areas of Cleveland have had undesirable reputations, inner Toronto has the opposite problem, unaffordability. What you could call the Toronto agglomeration covers an immense area.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Looking at the master plan's regional connector proposal, I would add ramps to and from Snow Road allowing westbound traffic on Snow headed for Hopkins to get on the connector and eastbound traffic from Hopkins to get onto Snow. Right now, it looks like you have to use I-71, which would require circuitous routings. Regarding parking and ground side capacity issues, the reason I often see in reporting is that the airport has shifted from a hub to an OD orientation. However, why would the hub era airport not have served approximately the same OD travel we have today. There must be more to it, for example, ULCC travel stimulation. I defer to someone with airport expertise.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
For example, a brown line train would come into TC from South Harbor via the waterfront tracks from the west and have to go back out to the west on the red line tracks to get to the airport. I am not sure what it would have to do, or even if my understanding of the existing track layout is up to date.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Agreed! This is a step forward. Do all of the track connections needed for these movements exist, or do some need ro be added at TC, eg the brown line?

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
^ I agree! I am requesting a cylindrical apartment/hotel building of approximately 20 stories with: 1. A semicircular platform with indoor/outdoor dining overlooking the river and downtown and a couple retail spaces 2. A gourmet revolving restaurant at the top (what a view!) 3. Pathways into the park and to the lower level of the DS bridge and Bridgeworks LOL, would somebody please get right on this? Thanks!

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
As of today, the brick building with the Panzica sign, across E 66th from the Cleveland Foundation is mostly demolished. It was the last building on the block. There is a new parking lot on the Chester side with an open roof. Will they be starting on the new tech building soon?
