  1. Oh, I forgot the "baseball" village in Gateway
  2. Lol, How wonderful. A "basketball" dream on thr river to go with a "football" dream on the lakefront. By the way, who was responsible for "the recently removed May Co. Building." referenced in the article. The article needs to be renovated.
  3. LOL, no wet market, just a Meijer (maybe).
  4. ^ Woo-hoo!!! Or should we say Wu-han? 😉
  5. Looks like "world class signage" and fencing are (back?) up at the site. Do we actually have a project? If they build all the phases shown in their plan, it will be a huge project. LOL, does this qualify as a "sprout?"
  6. That corner seems like a prime development location, either in conjunction with the park or independent from it. The views would be spectacular.
  7. I believe they will be removing the short roadway from US 322 eastbound to E107/Stokes uniting two blocks. On Google Maps, that little piece of roadway is labeled "Liberty Blvd." I wonder if that is correct: (i.e. the last vestige of what used to be Liberty Blvd, which went from UC to I-90 through the cultural gardens).
  8. I drove by there today, and there were roadwork signs up and a traffic squeeze near Chester and Stokes.
  9. LOL, so that 37 story building could actually have become SHW's headquarters (with adjustments for floorspace and parking needs). Maybe, it would already be built. 😏 The Jacobs lot would still have been available for the COE or whatever. WOW
  10. It looks, a little, as though they took the ~six story, angled building from the original design and plopped it atop the building to the west. I wonder how the total square footage compares with that of the original design.
  11. ^^Is this the bridge over the B&O track, on Stones Levee, which, I thought has been closed for quite some time. It allowed passage between Canal and W 3rd, the latter of which now dead ends at its north end. This sounds like a worthwhile project. The other bridge, further south, where Canal runs into W 3rd, was improved a while back.
  12. The picture of BOK in NEO-trans gave me nightmares of the Celebreeze federal building. The building roughed in at the top of the NEO-trans article reminded of the NuCLEus v2.0 office building. LOL, are we of the CLE prohibited from having something dynamic and original?
  13. The twin Proctor and Gamble HQ buildings in Cincinnati, lack loft but look classy to me. Maybe something "campus-like" in that vein would work here? I would, however, like a tall building to "balance off" the square.
  14. LOL, it reminds me of one of those plastic boxes with small pull out drawers in which I store screws, nails, and bolts.
  15. The Bridgeworks massing looks sharp, and is potentially a great juxtaposition of old and new.
  16. Some "out the window shots" mainly from W25th and adjacent streets: 1. Spang Bakery sign (love the "door" below) (removed pic) 2. Spang Bakery view along Barber 3. Front Steps new digs from the north 4. Fenced empty lots between Front Steps and Barber. Future Front Steps? 5. Some Snavely? construction, opening up what was a blank wall 7. More of that Snavely related building (east side of W25th) 6. Iconic MetroHealth round towers. Could they be residences one day? 8. Full view of new MH tower from the south on Scranton ( I ran out of space again, and I wasn't able to delete my river pictures). Lol, that's the order the program posted them 2020-12-27 Pics deleted to open space for others.
  17. Anyone know who owns the plot north of the RR tracks and within the loop of the Waterfront Line? Does it have any proposed uses since Eaton?
  18. I drove by, and the color of the easternmost "building" is farther "off-white" than that of the others.
  19. Are the RR tracks crossing Willey getting any use?
  20. I thought that Circle Square had a planned component on the north side of Chester. They had razed a brick building west of the Epworth. Is this site still part of the project?
  21. I believe that the differing facade styles, rather than making a unitary architectural statement for the building, act as a transition zone for the diverse, surrounding architecture, I.e. the dark brick buildings to the northeast, the siding cladded residences to the northwest, and the Saitowitz modernism to the southwest.
  22. ^ Agreed! IMO, this excellent map is an amazing example of the "information superhighway" concept. It's all there at one's fingertips. Fantastic work!
  23. I must have run into a photo posting limit, because I deleted my previously posted photos, and it allowed me to post selected, remaining photos. I will leave them out here for a while, until I take more photos for other threads. These are all taken from the boat. It went up the Cuyahoga as far as Collision Bend, turned around, and went back into Lake Erie, inside the break wall toward Dike 14, which you can see in the 7th picture. There is some sort of "dirt" work in progress next to the Burke runways. You should be able to tell that I am a bridge fan. It was a beautiful day.
  24. A few more. Started getting upload errors. after #4 Edit: Note - Photos removed due to posting limits
