Cleveland: Bob Stark Warehouse District Project
One must acknowledge the "chutzpah" of the developer to list the retailers he did, after watching the rise and decline of the Galleria and The Avenue at Tower City, not to mention the loss of all downtown department stores. I sincerely hope it works out for Pesht, but I would love to know the strategy the developer has that will make his development succeed long term where the others have gone down market. What is going to make this one fly!? If Anthropologie morphs into Dots, we will all be Pesht off.

The rendering of the block is sort of Crockeresque, even if a few floors taller

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
What is the estimate of impact of the Windemere <-->Downtown BRT on the Windemere <--> Downtown Rapid (Red Line) ridership? Is the analysis that the BRT will be mostly riders making shorter trips on Euclid or that Red Line users will be people coming from farther out or going beyond downtown, say to the airport? Also will there still be a Euclid local with more frequent stops than the BRT?

Seven Hills: Rockside Terrace
^ Where is this on Rockside? I know they have all those new residences and office condos on the south side of Rockside as you approach Broadview, and I cannot sanction the potential loss of Mr Chicken on the corner (jk). On the north side of Rockside there are some woods as I recall as you approach Broadview.

Not the Rockefeller. I am sorry, I mean to the "left" of the glass building. It maybe part of or connected to the foreground glass building. It is part of the Pesht rendering. I ruined my own joke

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
I will be interested in how well they keep the stations maintained and do the mundane stuff like keep replacing the light bulbs, especially those in the brick walkways. I think it will detract from usage if there are gaps in the lighting and the stations look unmaintained. I wish RTA the best on this long project. Hey, at least we got Euclid resurfaced!

Lol, do my eyes deceive me, or is that a mini Breuer tower behind the glass building? As for the glass building, maybe if Pesht doesn't come to fruition, K&D could use it (jk)

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Indy doesn't build redundant, competing centers that choke the life out of each other (Galleria vs Tower city, Eton vs Legacy Village, Flats vs Warehouse Dist and E4th etc etc). They focus well on properly sized developments. Our convention center needs to be readily accessible to a vital downtown. and not in an area that would scare people away. It is also ironic that the commissioners flatly refused the Medical Mart company's request to have it downtown only to now propose an outlying location themselves (unless they feel the mart will and the CC will be separated by a considerable distance). Let's get this thing done right!!

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
I was flabbergasted to read of this new proposed site. We'd better warn the Agora. I think the closest restaurant is Hatton's Deli at 36th LOL. Sadly, that area was probably nice once. Wasn't there a Pennsy train station there decades ago (at Euclid and 55th). Alas, there is no rapid tansit on that rail line now. For the forseeable future this is SIBERIA. I bet there are many other industrial waste lands around that could be added as more sites under consideration, as they keep adding more.

Would someone please provide relief/comfort to MTS (and me) and cough up the hotel brand(s)

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
yeah, but at least the sponsorship gives an extra set of eyes/funds to make sure it stays nice. Plus I bet the hospitals will promote public transporation much more. That's why I have no problem with the sponsorship....least it's not the "Progressive Line"...man I'd kill myself... LOL, Murray, good point!

Silver Line was a cool name. Health Line sounds like something you dial, not something you ride.

Twinsburg: Twinsburg Fashion Place
There is always CICI's pizza in Streetsboro for fine Italian! LOL I am waiting for the details prior to judging the development.

Twinsburg: Twinsburg Fashion Place
Isn't the Glimcher Co, listed in the article the company that gave us Polaris Fashion Place north of Columbus? They appear to be doing some sort of "Lifestyle" extension in what was the old Kaufmanns (later Macy's)? Perhaps that is what they intend for Twinsburg. I have noticed a number of projects slated for northern Summit county, none of which is going anywhere fast, so I am keeping my credit cards on ice for now.

Looking to move from downtown cleveland
I thought there was a complex in Berea overlooking the metropark near Bagley. That is very near the airport. Strongsville also has apartments. It is not far from the airport and a short ride down sr 82 from Brecksville (or one exit on the Turnpike) if you wish to splurge, lol

Cleveland: National City Bank News & Info
Charter One not too long ago and now potentially National City? That "giant sucking sound" on the North Coast is getting louder! Can we not compete?
