I heard customs and immigration were deleted from the project to save costs. So folks will still have use FIS services from the main BKL terminal building. Logistically, how will this work? would a passenger have to disembark at the main terminal, clear customs, then somehow get over to Landmark if s/he needed to use the FBO facilities/services? How would he/she get between the two buildings?

You're thinking about this from a Brown corporate angle. See it from the city of columbus angle---who are behind this. Its a first step. Columbus thinks of itself as the 'largest city in ohio'. In reality its a dull and boring city that is only larger in population because it annexed (by force) all of its suburbs in Franklin County. Don't be fooled--they'd love to steal the browns from CLE. This is an aggressive and provocative move by Columbus towards Cleveland.
  4. ^ okay, so from 77 & E 30th the view isn't great, but there are plenty of other perspectives.
  5. Morristown, NJ? That's hardly "NYC". Teterboro, would be acceptable, but Morristown is truly 'Jersey'. I guess no one is really calling them on it, so they get away with it.
  6. "Destination Medical City" is a bit clumsy...
  7. Good news: AA is bring back CLE-LGA, starting in April---3x daily during the week, 1x Saturday, 2x Sunday. Departs CLE 6:30, 11:45, and 16:45. Departs LGA 9:30, 14:45, and 18:50.
  8. Speaking of....B6...UA, just added a 5th CLE-Boston flight. Looks like UA is willing to fight for at least one CLE route.
  9. I've eaten there for lunch a few times. It was fine--like a 5 out of 10. I'm walking by, I'll stop in. But I'd never actively seek it out or bring someone there for dinner.
  10. That last paragraph says a lot. Not a single economic development or community development person. Who benefits without question whether or not anything really grows in the city as a result of the $100m bond? Bankers. Bankers make their chunk load of cash either way.
  11. Ha! Sorry--I just wrote quickly to post as quickly as I could--In my previous post before I wrote out "JetBlue" but in my excitement this longer form was overlooked. my apologies.

I just found this documentary--which apparently just came out in September--of a documentary documenting Vietnam today from the perspective of the war--done by a Cleveland photographer. I just ordered it. Its called "Vietnam: 35 Years After the Fall of Saigon" http://www.vietnam35yearsafter.com/
  13. Woo-HOO! B6 to start twice daily flights to BOS.
  14. There's a press conference scheduled for 11am tomorrow with Mayor Jackson at Hopkins. JetBlue service to Boston?
  15. ^We need good Indian downtown---for dinner (not only lunch). There was a place on Prospect a few yrs ago, but they closed.
  16. ^CPD released the video.
  17. Cleveland's annexation of the full East Cleveland makes the most sense and after the initial bump would be beneficial to the city. Failing that I'm not sure what a state take-over would mean for the residents of EC.
  18. ^i did now, thanks. Happy to hear of a building there (though I wish it was more than two stories). It would extremely wasteful (and pointless) to have just open land and the bridge landing.
  19. ^Nice presentation. But why not add that data into the presentation if it makes the numbers better? Also--p. 8---a 'regional jet' is like CRJ or an embraer with 50 or so seats. A 140-seat 73G is not a 'regional jet'--saying so makes it sound smaller (even though you say the number of seats and equipment type.).
  20. I can't read what's left of the legend---is the hotel still there between the science and rock museums or is taken out by the silly ramp for the pedestrian bridge?
  21. ^Interlining? likely with luggage transfers, and they likely have agreements with other airlines to carry another passengers in cases of cancellations or emergencies (which is standard), but they don't code-share with others and F9 is not part of any of the three main alliances.
  22. Just found this----play the animation/'play button' at the top--and keep your eye on Cleveland and you watch Detroit and New York (and other places) swell and contract red and blue in your periphery. Gets very scary around 2009--for the whole country. http://tipstrategies.com/geography-of-jobs/
  23. ^thanks, though disappointing---was looking forward to something new!
  24. Anyone know what he announced?
