I'd rather have a 1-2 buildings ranging from 300-450 feet adjacent to one 550+ tower than one 550+ tower with little next to it.

You mean if you have a flight that needs to happen THAT DAY. Yeah, I avoid them as well. I'm no so wealthy that I can just get arrive and depart cities when I feel like it, instead I have a work schedule and limited vacation days. Ironic, I know, as "Frontier" and "wealthy" are not often heard together!

^Punta Cana is now purchasable as a regular ticket, instead of having to buy it from a vacation company. Yes, that is cool, but its only three days a week. So many will still use other airlines that operate daily and have to connect. The other two cities in Florida were not big deals---West Palm (3 days/week)--nearby Ft. Lauderdale is already served and Sarasota (2 days/week)--nearby Ft. Myers and nearby Tampa are already served. What good is 2-3 days a week? And speaking of Tampa, Southwest announced today new CLE-Tampa service. Saturdays only (even worse than 2x/week!). Mar 9 TPA-CLE departs 8:20 AM on 737 Mar 9 CLE-TPA departs 11:40 AM on 737

The "prize" is a direct connection from Seattle catered to business not low-yield Alaska cruise traffic. It's sends a statement that some cities are open for business while others are not. Your assumption that CLE will get Alaska Airlines service dosen't mean it will happen. Every city in the region is now connected with real service to Seattle except CLE. If 2018 goes by and there are no new service announcements except Salt Lake City then I'll know not to trust Kennedy. He's hinted way too much about new service this year but delivered very little so far. Not to sunshine on your rain, but Frontier announced service to 3 new cities two weeks ago. Frontier? Frontier could add 100 cities and doesn't mean much. Business-people generally do not fly them--as they do not operate daily (let alone 2-5 times a day), have a limited route structure if weather or something goes wrong, are notorious for making people wait one or two days if there's a problem, cancel routes sometimes before they even start, AND fly to mostly leisure places. We don't need 100 more cities in Florida. We need business destinations and Europe on reputable carriers.

There would certainly be savings in fare-box operations/maintenance, payment kiosks, etc. which aren't cheap. (KJP:) How much $ does RTA take in the farebox? And how much is their operating budget?- Cleveland: TV / Film Industry News
Perhaps the most exciting and most interesting film ever made--not only about Cleveland--but ever, about anything:- Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
^Looking at this map from 1858, looks like High Street did cross what is now called E4. (This is a great resource: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html?appid=ddb0ee6134d64de4adaaa3660308abfd)- Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
The address says "501 High Ave." Will they extend High east of E4? It probably existed east of e. 4 before that giant parking lot was opened. Right now though, that address could not exist, nor anything above 400. In any event, wouldn't one WANT a prospect address over "High"? its more prestigious plus people will know where it is. More people know "Prospect" than "High".- Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
^as long as those "affordable" units are for-sale..... but they will probably be rental units.- Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
^That's great, but why "luxury" condos? Why not just condos? Or both?- Cleveland: Port Authority News & Info
On the Port's vessel lineup covering about 6-7 weeks, there is only one Spliethoff--the container service between CLE and Antwerp. Why is this? I thought there were two sailings per month from CLE. Did they scale their schedule back or is it just missing from the Ports's list? Also, what is "BKE" under "Country of Origin"? http://www.portofcleveland.com/media/1237/08122018-vessel-lineup.pdf- Cleveland: Historic Photos

Man, traffic is a killer in Cleveland. There are more cars on the old Superior Viaduct that doesn't cross the river than on the Detroit-Superior Bridge that does!- Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Dude--Unless you want to fly directly into Rome or Bologna or other non-Milan city, make the stop in Iceland--both WW and FI fly into Milan. If you have to change planes anyway, the benefit of KEF over JFK, EWR, IAD, ATL, etc is that 1) its likely to be cheaper, and 2), you're supporting the int'l passenger numbers into Cleveland and supporting the international services we have---which will lead to more service.- Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

OneJet used seven-seat aircraft didn't they? That's really tiny--seems unsustainable. I'm glad the onejet-utlimate deal is off. Ultimate seems like a good operation. I've taken their BKL-LUK flight and it was one-time, good on-board service, well-priced, and hassle-free. I would certainly take them to more places if they offered them out of BKL.- Cleveland: Retail News

what about the school board vote? Did they every vote? Wasn't it like Sept they were supposed to decide and then because the mayoral election in November, they delayed it--did they ever actually vote?
