The Dumb Joke/Funny Story Thread
How I sign the bottom of my letters: PS- this is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated All credit goes to Mitch Hedburg, one of the greatest dumb joke tellers of all time! His jokes could fill pages on this thread!

Help with Washington DC
Any of those suggestions work. Will you be able to take the metro to work? If so, that would be might biggest requirement. I was born in DC and lived there until I went to college. I lived 4 blocks from the Tenelytown metro and it was the greatest location ever....

The two buildings directly north of the Duncanson parking lot are next in line for the developers of the Duncanson Lofts. It will only be 8 units. As the map above says, names are still TBD...

Help me buy a bike...
I am from DC, and we would hop on our bikes around 9 or 10 at night, ride a couple of miles downtown, wreak some havoc, then hop the metro back uptown. I'm not looking to commute (I already live/work downtown), I just like to tool around and jump on/off stuff. I'm gonna order parts within the next week. We'll have to get an UO urban ride together for the summer.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
I was at the corner of 12th and Vine yesterday when some woman started screaming about her car getting stolen. Meanwhile, the Q salespeople were trying to show some units to prospective buyers. It was like the show was put on for them. Come to find out the woman is from somewhere outside the city, down here with her husband....hmmm....wonder what they were doing....something shady that led to an unauthorized use of their car. Someone I was standing with yesterday said it the best, "well, we should go to her neighborhood and start screaming for the police in the middle of the street!" It's just a shame...

Help me buy a bike...
I worked in bike shops from the time I was 13 until I graduated high school. When I left for college, some thankless @sshole stole thousands of dollars worth of bicycles from my garage. So my three favorite bikes are gone, and now I am left with an old school 1998 FSR frame with an long travel suspension kit on it. So I am on my way to start building it up again, but I need tools. Does anyone have a headset cup press, or a bottom bracket tool (for an ISIS crank). Or does anyone know of a bike shop around Cincinnati that would let me come in for an hour or so and build the bike up. I am about to drop some money to buy all the parts, but if I can avoid buying 150 bucks in tools that would help my cause.

Where to buy a suit in Cincinnati
I get emails from Jos. A Bank 3 times a week advertising sales. They have a 199 suit event going on right now. You can't beat it!

^As someone that lives down here, that is not what keeps me from going there (can't speak for others). I walked there last night because I needed trash bags, and other than one offer for weed, I was left alone. Most of the time I don't go because it is so d@mn small. They basically have 1 or 2 of each product, vs 4 or 5 options over in Bellevue, or 6-10 options up at Hyde Park. It is the selection that keeps me away...

South Lebanon - high end appartments for retail workers?
To the point of the terms young professionals and empty nesters: These are market segments that exist, and product can be designed for that market. I would agree however, (especially with YP's) that the terms are used too generally. Everyone that wants to build for 20 and 30 somethings thinks they are building for "today's young professional"...

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
And they will have the living center or whatever it is called which will showcase local downtown and OTR properties for sale. I think this will be a great asset to encourage people to move back to the center city.

IMHO I would hate to see a fountain square farmers market detract from Findlay. I think there should be for focus on getting people up to OTR to get fresh produce rather than splitting the group between the market and fountain square.

How many Mac or PC users out there?
Gonna need to drop a little more dough than that to find a decent mac. But it is worth it. My boss (a habitual PC user) just bought a new Toshiba laptop a few months ago. I tried to get him to buy a mac, but he gave me the old dog new tricks line. Since then, when his computer crashes, he comes over and uses mine, with no real issues... MAKE THE SWITCH!!!

The BEER Thread
Got the double simcoe, just as good as I remembered. The last IPA I made was a centennial IPA (i.e. Bell's two hearted ale). The next one will definitely be a Simcoe...
