  1. From Strongsville I go 71 straight up. If the 71 looks REALLY bad ill take 71-480-76-90, but that was if 71 was AWEFULL. No back in 07 it should have been easier to travel because there was no closing of lanes on the interbelt.
  2. In 2007 I started commuting from Strongsville to Downtown. The drive was unbearable to me. If I wanted to be down there at 9:15 for class I had to leave at 7:45. If I had to be at class at 9 I had to leave at 7-7:15. One semester I had finals at 8 and I had to leave my house at 6:30. Even then I still missed some classes, sometimes I would make it leaving an hour and a half early and other times it would take me 2 hours thanks to an accident, weather, etc. I got so fed up with it I moved downtown last semester (spring 09). I didn’t have to put up with this anymore!! But occasionally I'd have to go home for something and I would stay the night. So in the morning I would drive downtown. I left an hour and a half early because I knew what to expect. But this time I got there in a 30-45 min. This happened more than once. I talk to my friend who is interning downtown and he says it takes him no more than 40 min to get downtown. 7:20-8:00. I want to know why traffic has been moving so fast. Loss of jobs? More people using RTA (busses and rapid)? Population decrease? People moving downtown? I am very curious as to what is causing this. It used to take me anywhere from a 1:15 to 2 hours to make the trip. Anyone have stats on RTA rider increase, downtown housing spike, loss of jobs? Or just your thoughts on the subject.
  3. I think Clevelumbus is our winner. Everything seems to be in the correct places.
  4. That would be quite the view if it was real, hopefull someone can come across a similar point of view.
  5. I got it from http://www.forbes.com/2009/05/22/america-fit-cities-lifestyle-health-healthy-cities_slide_23.html Who knew we were fitter than chicago and philly. Has anyone been to this exact spot, I would like to go there.
  6. how many stories did they say the office tower is going to be? I herd it a while ago but cant remember.
  7. Now I'm obviously overlooking something when I ask this, but with land slighty scarse downtown why wouldnt they use a high rise convention center like New York was planning on?
  8. I would like to go here, but where exactly was this picture taken from?
  9. Ive been searching the forums and places like apartments.com and all I get is the regualrs (reserve square, chesterfield, warehouse condos). This year CSU will have a Division 3 Club Hockey Team. We are looking for a place tear by CSU, within walking distance, for everyone on the team to live in. I know there are more apartments/lofts in the area, cause just a few months ago we partied in at least 3 diffrent places within walking distance of CSU's dorms. However I cant seem to find any on apartment search sites. If anyone can give me a name, I can look it up. One of the places I went too was called something like Walker Weeks?? Am I close??
  10. I herd people in starbucks on 6th talking about development on this land, can anyone confirm this. Or were they talking about the building that got postponed due to the lones?
  11. "I might not have the right to decide if what you did is justified by a death penalty, I just have the responsibility to set you up with the one who does"
  12. I don't understand at all why someone would do this. If your going to mug someone take his money and beat him up, no need to shoot someone. What happened to fighting, these f'in punks are lazy pieces of shTT. I just cant wait till one of these "gangstas" pulls on a gun someone who's packin and they get their head blown off (with more people carrying these days, its only a matter of time). As for it costing more to give them the death penalty then keep them in prison for life, I would rather pay $1000 to kill the punk then $1 to keep him alive for the rest of his life. I live 2 blocks from where this happened, I don't want to have to worry about this kind of stuff. We need to make examples out of these shTT heads. Send him to the chair, lets move on, and continue to make this city better.
  13. Where would I get a 1920X1200 picture of Cleveland, I have looked online for high res wallpaper but I only get NY and Chicago. Where would I find some of Cleveland. I have seen wallpaper of Cleveland but not a high res one. If anyone has high res pictures that would be cool too, something that would make a good wallpaper. Thanks
  14. thanks mayday, it looks good.
  15. I recently got a new comp with a wide screen high res lcd and i want to fill the screen with a great pic of downtown. But the problem I have is that most of the pics i have seen through google search are low res and not very creative. I have seen some great ones of Chicago that were photoshoped. Im lookin for something high res and very creative, does anyone know of a site like that or if you have some photoshoped pics you worked on i would love to see them.

Hey guys, I am a student at CSU lookin for a roomie. But I have tried most of the roommate sites out there. I need to find one soon because school starts in 2 weeks. Where do you think I could go, I was thinking of going to an apartment and seeing what they have to offer in terms of roommate matching. Any help would be great!
