Posted March 7, 201015 yr Here are some of my recent Cleveland Pics: 1. This is a 18 photo stitch from Abbey Rd Bridge. The original file is huge! ;) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. HDR 10. 11. Collinwood High School 12. 13. W65th and Detroit 14. 15. HDR Photo Stitch 16. 17. 18.
March 7, 201015 yr Whenever I see stickware either here or on flickr, I always stop what I'm doing and go see what you have. Your HDR skills are amazing. I love the colors and angles in these photos.
March 7, 201015 yr Another amazing set! :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
March 7, 201015 yr Everyone of them look like they should be framed and hung up on walls! Nice work...yet again. Bravo, bravo!
March 7, 201015 yr Everyone of them look like they should be framed and hung up on walls! Nice work...yet again. Bravo, bravo! Thanks for the compliments. I don't usually print/frame too many pics but I am having a show at MoJo's Coffee House in Bay Village starting March 19th for about a month. Hopefully it goes well.
March 7, 201015 yr Awesome. I like 10- the warehouses along Lakeside or Hamilton, and 17- the B+W of the "big 3". Is that a B+W HDR?
March 7, 201015 yr Thanks! I think it is on Hamilton (but I'm going to have to check). 17 is an HDR converted to B&W using a gradient map.
March 8, 201015 yr Wow! were these photo shopped or just taken at 'the magic moment' or made to look exactly like the eye remembered them? Spectacular!

March 8, 201015 yr Yes, pic # 10 is on Hamilton Ave. That is a fierce picture of one of the Brownhoist buildings on the left (there is a Brownhoist complex, of sorts, that front a couple different streets). The complex is quite large. Not as mammoth as nearby Tyler Village, but very very big.
March 9, 201015 yr Great work. Cleveland feels cold and empty though. What time did you take the pic at W65th and Detroit?
March 10, 201015 yr Great, er stunning, pics! And, Scrabble? In winter Cleveland is cold and empty. Everybody hides in their cabins under blankets or Snuggies in front of their TVs or computers for two months (since New Year's Day) until a week of temps in the 50s-60s (like this week!) comes around. I swear I've seen more people walking around in my neighborhood in the past few days than I've seen all winter! And they're all squinting against the light of the outdoors and their skins are pale as the salt-stained streets. Now comes the big tease of the coming spring. Warm. Cold. Warm. Cold. Then one day we wake up and it's 90 outside. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
March 13, 201015 yr I went for a bike ride around downtown on Thursday afternoon & to my surprise, the Goodyear blimp was making some rounds around the lake! These are poor quality (taken via cellphone) but it was nice to see the blimp up close.
