Is there anyway the forum could allow youtube videos to show up in posts instead of just links?

 

Maybe I'm missing something or this has already been covered somewhere. Thanks in advance.

^they used to be! As I recall, last summer there seemed to have been some technical difficulty here that temporarily wiped out youtube embeddation (did I just make up that word?). Anyhoo, after whatever was wrong was fixed, video embedding was back in service...for everyone except me!! (not that I'm still bitter or in any way feel paranoid that I was being singled out :|). But now it appears nobody has it. Maybe a restoration is forthcoming??...

Thanks for the feedback Don. I can't embed Youtube videos here either. I can embed Youtube on a forum like this one that's why I was wondering.

I can't view Youtube videos at work so I'm glad I don't have to look at all those big empty spaces where most people would see a video! :)

Youtube and other videos are working correctly now.  Thanks for the reminder, it allowed me to kick my butt into gear.

rich fyi i just put up a thread with some youtube links and its working fine. yay --youtube is back on uo!!
