Posted March 26, 201015 yr Beautiful, warm weather, coupled with explorations of various historical and abandoned structures, always beats off the winter blues. In my trip to Parker Tobacco Company, I had also stopped at Vernon Manor in Cincinnati and Higginsport, Ohio School for additional photography. Vernon Manor. Derelict hallways. Elevator switches. Emergency braking system for the elevator. Elevator motor. One of the tacky suites. The stripping of the building's interior has already begun by contractors, who will gut the Vernon Manor in preparation for its conversion into an office tower. Kitchen. Roof toilet. Typical bathroom. It was literally a red hallway. Fire hydrant on the roof. Higginsport, Ohio School. Gymnasium. Enjoy! Original blog post -- http://www.abandonedonline.net/index.php?q=blog&id=92
