Myself and a couple of friends are thinking about taking a trip to New Zealand because we may have a way of getting 2 free flights.  After "googling" some things about the country I am very excited about the possibility to take a trip there.  I have been to Australia before and I've heard New Zealand is even better.

 

Does anyone have any experiences from their visit (assuming a fellow forumer or two have been there)?  We were thinking about going sometime in October to get there for their Spring and avoid the major tourist season (Dec-April).  A couple of things I will definitely do if I go are bungee jumping and checking out as many of the national parks as I can.  Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  It truly is one of the most beautiful parts of the Earth from the pictures I've seen.
