Posted April 5, 201015 yr bed-stuy threads --- parts 1-2-3-4: http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,22790.0.html http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,22792.0.html http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,22793.0.html http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,22794.0.html a walk around brooklyn’s bedford-stuyvesant neighborhood (aka bed-stuy) -- part one of four: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedford–Stuyvesant,_Brooklyn first up are two surprising and well kept courts off a scubby stretch of atlantic ave better known for auto repair shops and el tracks running down the middle of it: alice court agate court some view! the lirr wizzing by as seen from the back of agate court waah! interfaith hospital on atlantic forgot to include faith in architecture -- sorry! next is one of my favorite little stretches, this is chauncey street in front of fulton park & boys&girls hs a peek at the back yards behind stuyvesant street at chauncey street on the easternmost boundry of bed-stuy, homes on & around lower stuyvesant street are spectacular ** stay tuned -- part two features bed-stuy & nyc’s longest brownstone stretch***
