Thanks for these threads.  Thoroughly enjoyed them.

My favorite building downtown.  I remember the security guard giving us an incredible architectural tour of this building.  I think he was making a book about it.

It's like merging Cincinnati and Cleveland's downtowns.

Great thread and great photos. Thanks.

Downtown's looking pretty good, and you even avoided some of the  more touristy areas!

Absolutely loved this urban graveyard!

Agreed.  I LOVE Downtown Pittsburgh...the architecture is so diverse!

Quick question...the former Alcoa Headquarters was "given?" to Pittsburgh area nonprofits/civic boosters to use for office space...creating a nonprofit/innovation hub (i believe the rents are favorable as well).  Since the Ameritrust Tower in Cleveland is empty and owned by the county (and now asbestos free), could this be a model to bring life back to that building?

Now I want to do a PA road trip thanks to you!

Reminds me of my travels with Coldayman and Jose :)

I love Pittsburgh. Downtown is so dense; some of the streets are unbelievably narrow.

Now I want to do a PA road trip thanks to you!

haha :-D  such a beautiful state.  I wish I had more time to explore it.
