You know, I have lived in Pennsylvania for over 3 years now and I have yet to actually explore Harrisburg.  This thread just made me really want to go.

A very nice (and very small) capital city. Looks like it would make a great day trip on the area combined with State College.

For some reason I always forget about this place.  I like the way the state capital is elevated and surrounded with other civic buildings.  I also like the fact that the city seems to be oriented towards the state capital... makes it seem all the more grand.
