Good thing people are okay.  I've heard of these things happening on a regular basis.  I really think vacant buildings should get more inspections to force owners to make repairs before they get worse.

 

 

The damage reminds me of when University of Michigan's North Hall broke in half and tipped backward (but didn't break to pieces) due to a poor temporary retaining wall.  They kept it "propped" against the new building until it was jacked back into place.
