and i just noticed 23 and 24 have not been answered either.

23 and 24 are both Prospect and 40th I believe?

Sorry, 23 is 36th and Prospect.

^ Nice job you got them both right.

Any idea on 26?

23 is the Tavern Club (at the location Bumsquare describes).

26- The Executive's Den- Gateway, on Bolivar.

Nice, correct.

Hint:  Don't look so much at the building itself, the real clue is what's behind it.

That's awesome.  It's my favoritest part of the flats- Columbus Rd.  Old school, atmospheric flats.

That's it.

OK, here's one:

Some hints: it's not a schlocky 1960s or 1970s public school.  And it's a bit of a landmark.

This is great. You two are the first to participate with pictures. Before I was the only one who posted pictures and got a bunch of guesses but no one posted any. Dont forget to number it so it can stay organized! And you've stumped me on this one.

^I'm such a taker on this web site; this is the least I can do!  And thanks for this great thread idea.

Great game. #28 has me stumped. The brick and the building seem like it could be the Agora, but the trees make me think it's not..

I probably should have posted a slightly wider view...

More hints:  it's a great example of early-ish modernism in Cleveland (pre Korean war) and is on the east side of Cleveland proper.

It's the Karamu House.

^Yup.  A great building.

I'm stumped on this one too. perhaps a hint, please

#30:

I hope it's ok if I slightly deviate from the rules, but this is inside a building in Cleveland proper.

Hint: It's open [and free] to the public.

#29 is on Woodbine, behind Fulton Foods.  Ohio City.

#30 is the courtyard of City Hall

#30 is the courtyard of City Hall

Correct in 5 minutes, that must be a record !

OK, here's another one:

Picture now works for me. No idea though on #31, it looks slightly overcast in the picture, which is abnormal. Most of the google street view images in cleveland were taken on sunny days.

Been a while since the last post.

#32 is attached:

#31 is on the corner of Canal Road and Carter Dr. in the Flats, not sure of the name of the building.

you're right for #32. #31, the one before mine, I'm stumped.

I'm Stumped on #31 as well, but in the meantime, #33:

#33 is off of East Blvd and I believe it is just South of Superior Avenue.

Correct!

Any takers on #31?  It's not really a well known landmark but it is incredible distinctive, IMO.  It's on the East Side of the City of Cleveland if that helps.

I thought for sure I had already guessed the it's the old B&O station in the flats.

#31- Burning Bush at E. 110 and Hull

the building on commercial and ontario, next to the to be demolished marathon station ?

^nope!

Not being a Clevelander I can't be more specific, but maybe this will help someone else: I photographed #35 with almost exactly the same view in 2006 while walking around in a drizzle in the vicinity of W 6th Street not far from the RTA office. I think it might have been adjacent to this:

I believe you are right dead on Robert.  #35 is taken from W. 4th and I believe it is the back of the building on W. 6th which is attached to the Barley House.

Yep you guys are correct. Nice eye

I think Strap has officially stumped us with #31.

That one was #32 :)

Yes!  Hope that building finds a sustainable future.

Is #36 one of the schools slated for demolition on Sterns Blvd adjacent to the Arts High School.

I figured it was on the east side.  The architecture being Georgian suggests to me that is near Shaker Square.

Do you have a PC or a Mac?
