March 13, 201114 yr I think Strap has officially stumped us with #31. #36 How are you all posting the images from google streetmaps? That's a factory on East 31st, north of Payne. A few years ago, it was slated for development as housing, but it fell through.
March 14, 201114 yr How are you all posting the images from google streetmaps? Do you have a PC or a Mac? I view the location in firefox and then take a screenshot of the image (using the 'prt sc'/print screen button on the keyboard), and then crop the image to only include the mystery image. #36 is the Hyacinth Lofts on east 63rd. I've never been inside them, but they look very nice.
March 14, 201114 yr #38 The long abandoned, former Fifth Church of Christ at Lake and W117th in Cleveland! I initially thought Severance too, but then noticed the weed trees and vines coming out of the hedges which told me "neglected" thus leading me to this structure.

June 6, 201114 yr It's been a couple months since we last did this: #39 (I did blur out 2 identifying signs in blue).
June 7, 201114 yr ^My guess is either Barn Court or East 12th place. The tile work matches the Halle Building and its garage. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
June 7, 201114 yr ^My guess is either Barn Court or East 12th place. The tile work matches the Halle Building and its garage. Great job. It's the intersection of Barn Court and East 12th place.
June 7, 201114 yr ^ you didnt use googlemaps did you? Cause that was my guess but I couldnt get that angle.
June 7, 201114 yr ^ you didnt use googlemaps did you? Cause that was my guess but I couldnt get that angle. I did not; I had taken the picture. Sorry if this broke protocol. There was one earlier photo (the slavic village apts) that wasn't from google maps, so I figured as long as it was taken from street-level and displayed a large area of space, like google maps, it would be ok.
June 7, 201114 yr lol yeah its okay, I was just confused on were it was. Maybe a disclaimer before would help! But no big dea;
June 7, 201114 yr Dodge Ct. is paved. There really aren't too many streets downtown with exposed brick...still searching...
June 14, 201113 yr No one knows? The only brick allies in downtown that I know of is Crawford Court (between e4 and e2), 43rd and payne [that's stretching to considered that downtown, to say the least], and Erie and Sumner[?] by Erie Cemetery.... wait, erie court ? pretty sure it's not erie court, erie court has grass between the curb and brick wall.
June 14, 201113 yr yeah not it. Wow, I actually finally stumped you guys. Any last guesses. Ill give you guys a hint if you want.
June 14, 201113 yr ^Can you give us one more night? I might spend a little time hunting around tonight. I have some ideas...
June 14, 201113 yr ^Can you give us one more night? I might spend a little time hunting around tonight. I have some ideas... Yeah lol, Ill wait till tomorrow and if nobody still knows I will give a hint.
June 15, 201113 yr 40. HINT: Downtown This would be an alley off East 13th Street, just to the north of Euclid looking towards the east.
June 24, 201113 yr #41: (I did blur out an identifying sign; and the google maps compass in the left hand corner)
June 24, 201113 yr Wow. That looks like literally 50 different parks in the city of Cleveland. Wooden posts in the ground? Check. Bedraggled 1980s park bench? Check. Indiscriminate field with large tree? Check. Streetlight used to light play area? Check. Factory and houses split into 15 apartments looming on the horizon? Check.

There's only so many very distinct places in Cleveland to use :-D
June 27, 201113 yr My guess is Luke Easter Park. That's a bit of a wild guess.. nope, but you're not very far off.
July 14, 201113 yr This is clearly a new built project: My first guess would be the Mill Creak Development My second guess if I could have one would be the new housing near St. Lukes Hospital. My Third guess is one of the new housing projects in Slavic Village? So was your previous photo unanswered?
July 14, 201113 yr The picture of the park was not my post. As for your three gueses, that would be no, no, and no. Here's a hint.... you're not even close ;) But, yes, it is a new development (at least it started within the past 5 or so years) but is much more small scale than Mill Creek. Another hint - these houses probably have decent lake views.
July 14, 201113 yr Around E. 105th and St. Clair? Still cold, but getting warmer... A different vantage point -
July 14, 201113 yr Hurston Ct., off Cliffview between Belvoir and Euclid. EDIT: And I didn't need your second clue. :)
July 14, 201113 yr ^Argh, I just spent like 15 minutes scooting around on googlemaps till I found it...and I'm too late. By the way, what are the ground rules here? Are people allowed to look for the site on googlemaps or is it a test of knowing it off the top of your head.
July 14, 201113 yr Well done JJ. Only reason I knew of it is because cliffview is a shortcut I sometimes use when heading to the shoreway.
July 26, 201113 yr It's fair game if you look on google maps first =) 43. may not be very distinct, but it's an Ohio Landmark.
July 26, 201113 yr ^Heisman house on Bridge Ave. But how long has that parking lot been there? For some reason I don't remember that.
