A tiny river town and like the rest it looks like it has seen better times, but again, it is on the river so that earns it some bonus points.

Compared to every other river town in East Central Ohio, Martins Ferry has to be the healthiest.

I wonder if Martins Ferry is affected negatively or positively by being right across the river from Wheeling.  At one point it must have been good, but with the decline of Wheeling, and the shift of retail to the St. Clairsville area, MF is probably taking a big hit right about now.
