Good evening from Detroit...

I was wondering when these were going to appear.  Thanks for these.  Indy sure looks pretty good in here.  And sorry I kept getting in the way of your shots.  My butt kept showing up.  woops.

(and btw, the first four are in the Chatham Arch neighborhood.  Not St. Joseph).

very nice as always Cool Day...

And sorry I kept getting in the way of your shots.  My butt kept showing up.  woops.

I'm sure that was an accident :)

I love the Penn Station signage -- bring that to downtown and it'd fit right in. I'm always impressed at Indy's street canyons -- so lively, clean.

^ What is the status of this?

Potato ... Pot-ah-toe.  BAH!

Indy sure looks pretty good in here.

It does indeed. I am quite impressed, I was not expecting Indy to look so good based on what people have said about the city.

Great stuff!

I did almost exactly the same tour of Indy in January, but it was dreary and cold; it looks like you faired much better.

Indy looks really good. They don't have a great urban fabric, but they use what they have really well.

Indy is monumental.  You have a great eye!

wow. well done.  You managed to take a city I have been to and pretty much loathe and find utterly worthless (Indy), and make it look fantastic.

Wow! I have to admit Indy is looking good in these photos. I also like the last pic of the Big D, the skyline looks really dense from that angle.

I like the fact that non-monument circle Indy is getting some coverage here. I'm thinking that + their dense downtown is the reason for the positive reactions.

Fantatsic thread, I dig Indianapolis.

Great tour.

I'd like to see more of the (original) Big D... Detroit.

Awesomeness

Impressive.

Yeah, this is pretty surreal.  Indianapolis is a city that I've been to innumerable times and have never found one thing redeeming about it.  Now, suddenly, I'm looking forward to exploring these places the next time I'm there.
