I don't know if anyone has seen this site before, but these are wonderful postcards and views of Youngstown.....

You can buy enlarged images, but I just like looking at the images. My favorites:

+ The downtown views in the 1950s-60s with all the people, stores and of course the great old automobiles and the streetcars, trolleys and even just the webbing of trolley wires;

+ Steel mills, of course, especially the touched-up night views trying to show the skyward-shooting flames;

+ The interior view of the huge ballroom at Idora Park. I can almost hear the music of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. The ballroom is stunning -- like something out of Las Vegas! Not only is the park gone, but so is much of the surrounding neighborhood. Think urban prairie...

I LOVE that site.  I stumbled across it during a google image search for historic Williamsport photos.

Old postcards are so important and I feel they must be preserved.

And I think they're worth buying.

I like the view of the Civil War memorial.  That view is almost exactly the same today.

I sure wish we still had that beautiful 5 story building next to Woolworths/Rosetta Stone Cafe.

Great stuff.  Fedearl street from the 50s reminds me a lot of Euclid.
