Posted May 14, 201015 yr Hi Everyone, I would like to know if anyone could reccommend any good, clean, safe places one could rent short term in Cleveland. The place would have to be either downtown or on the rapid lines. I would only be using the room or place for three days out of the week for about two months. Basically just to sleep. If anyone knows of good low cost places, please do let me know. Thanks
May 15, 201015 yr You might try the La Quinta Hotel near the airport. It's right at the West 150th-Puritas Rapid station and I-71. It's probably the cheapest and cleanest hotel by a Rapid station... http://www.lq.com/lq/properties/propertyProfile.do?ident=LQ1029&propId=1029 Or have you looked here: http://cleveland.craigslist.org/apa/ These are some possibilities that caught my eye: http://cleveland.craigslist.org/apa/1741387517.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/apa/1740801063.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/apa/1740795248.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/apa/1738741190.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/apa/1723430622.html (great location, also has furnished units but the place looks like a dump in the photos) If nothing else works, I live on a bus line that has fast, frequent rush-hour service to downtown. I have a sofa-bed in my office that you might consider if you live quietly and cleanly, and my two cats don't mind you. :) But consider my place only as a last resort as I'm a pain in the ass to live with. May 16, 201015 yr Try the Tremont Place Lofts which have furnished apartments for daily, weekly or monthly rates. It's located in the Tremont neighborhood which is super close to downtown and just as affordable and even cheaper than most hotels and plus it's in a great area. I stay there all the time and love it.
May 16, 201015 yr Dont forget the Alcazar in Cleveland Hts. http://www.thealcazar.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=51&Itemid=50
May 16, 201015 yr Stone Gables may be an option. a few minutes bus ride to downtown http://www.stonegables.net/ I am sure something can be negotiated besides the nightly rate.
