I don't have any pictures of my own but I thought I would share these pictures of the fire at the Masonic Temple in Cleveland the other day.

You could still smell the smoke coming from the building yesterday.  A shame that it was lost- due to arson at that.

What is the intersection??

E. 55th St. about halfway between Payne and Superior.

It was a large, uninviting building, but iconic nonetheless.  I hope it does not have to be 'razed'

I believe it was razed last week shortly after the fire.  There was a video on Cleveland.com showing them taking down the walls.

Wow this is terrible, the auditorium inside is one of the best in Cleveland.  What a shame.

Are you thinking of the Masonic Auditorium at E. 36 and Euclid?  That's a different building.
