great job. i'm not a huge fan of sd, but i like it and it is my fav city to ride around on a bike in.

Cleanest major American city I have ever been in.  Maybe it has to do with all the retired military.

They have some great food there.

nice pics. I liked SD much more than I expected given the car centric sprawly reputation. Although I am a huge fan of cities on the sea so it is hard to go wrong. Plus the weather- at least along the coast, is what I would consider perfect.

I keep meaning to get back down to SD, I really like it there.  The revitalization of their downtown, especially in the Gaslamp District has been incredible.

The gaslamp is nice, but I am interested in Hillcrest, north park, little italy and such...revitalized neighorhoods with personality. Love the 1920's. California bungalows mixed with modern low rises.

I think these pics look great! Is it really that sprawly and suburbanish? How's the local restaurant/bar scene ratio of local to chains?
