Had many a drink in the Southern Inn about 10 years ago when I worked in Minerva – looks abandoned now. Small town alley: Kitschy signage: Off the Lincoln Highway and into downtown: More empty storefronts than I remember Twin facades Vintage station: Redneck punch palace: Flat-iron along the tracks at Main Street: Oldest house in town, birthplace of namesake Minerva Ann Taylor No idea: Some parting shots of the depot and Ohi-Rail yard , formerly home to the Minerva Scenic Railroad (http://ohirail.freeshell.org/about.html)

July 24, 201014 yr Better than I thought it would be, from a couple of the early photos. The downtown looks quite pleasant in spots, and the brick street is good. The "No Idea" building looks like it may have been an early railroad depot, pre-dating the one used by the scenic railroad.
