August 12, 201014 yr Heh, Ann Arbor's State Street looks like it has pretty much the exact same set of businesses as Madison's State Street.

August 23, 201014 yr Michigan seems to have more art deco towers in mid-sized cities than anyplace on the planet. Also, I love the arcade building. But was there an exterior shot?
August 26, 201014 yr Nice pictures of Ann Arbor. Lived here 6 years. It's an incredible place, not just the buildings and campus, but the street life. Sunny afternoons in June, sidewalks jammed with people dining and sipping wine. So many pleasant memories. I've been considering renting a second apartment there.

Sold to a real estate developer for penthouse / lots. Project known as The Gallery. Proposed at the peak of the market. http://www.annarbor.com/business-review/lender-sues-over-2275-loan-on-the-gallery-condo-project-in-ex-greek-church-in-ann-arbor/ The developer was Michael Concannon. He has his hand on a few unfinished projects around town.
September 22, 201014 yr I hope the Gallery project will pan out one day. The proposal was great. Nicely scaled for the neighborhood,
September 23, 201014 yr I hope the Gallery project will pan out one day. The proposal was great. Nicely scaled for the neighborhood, The units were WAY over-priced for what they were. The trend--in downtown construction--seems to have moved from owner-occupied to renter-occupied.
