September 2, 201014 yr I was thinking about this the other day and what is really bad about about the first house that I posted is that they probably could have done a side entry garage for the same cost and space. They have a 30 ft wide strip of concrete in front of the house. A 15ft wide driveway all the way to the back of the house would probably been about the same amount of concrete. and the frontage of the 3 car garage turned sideways is around 22 feet instead of 30 plus. So they probably could have done it. You can't do that with a 2 car garage but if you have the frontage for 3 car, turn that sucker... Unless it's a six car tandem garage... ;)

September 3, 201014 yr I think one reason they do front facing garages is so that the garage is plainly visible in single snapshots for listings.
