September 11, 201014 yr More like Pigeon Forge. Oy! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 11, 201014 yr Well, they've got "tacky" down pat. I know I'd stick to the serene natural settings.
September 11, 201014 yr Oh lord, the Dells. There are some really great parks up there. Mt Olympus has some of my favorite coasters and a great waterpark. Noah's Ark is a great park too. I also love the Kalahari and the Wilderness hotels. But outside of that, it is definitely tacky. What are you doing up there?
September 11, 201014 yr Is that really a car that has just mowed down a stoplight in front of that upside-down building, or is that just part of the illusion? And does anyone still ride those ducks? I'm suprised they're still allowed to run those antiquated, worn-out WWII deathtraps, considering the number of people who have drowned in various places in the past few years, when those things abruptly became submarines. I guess that after seeing those photos, I don't need to feel bad about not having been there. There are some other attractions in the area that are well worth the time, though, like Circus World at Baraboo and the Mid-Continent Railway Museum at North Freedom.
September 12, 201014 yr Rob, I'm surprised that you didn't mention that the upside-down building is meant to be the White House. Torture Museum - :whip:
September 12, 201014 yr Everything in Wisconsin Dells caters to gluttons. All-you-can-eat Buffets, candy, fudge, ice cream, idiotic souveneires, bars ... I really don't think you guys give this place enough credit!
