I was excited when onecommunity.org began utilizing the dark fibre in the area to provide high speed Internet access to the area and stand behind its cause to provide education institutions and non-profits with access to high speed networks.  however, I've been disappointed that services haven't been extended to smaller, for-profit businesses.

places like Chattanooga - http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/13/chattanooga-becomes-home-to-1gbps-internet-service-just-350-pe/ - are already providing super high speed access for about the same as a T1 line here in Cleveland.

is anyone here close with the OneCommunity organization and know if there are plans to branch out to small businesses?  it would be a great asset to the community IMHO in that small businesses based in Cleveland would have a huge advantage over other cities, which in turn could attract more businesses in the digital industry.
