I thought it looked very "small town" and then I saw Sally's Toys 'N Such and then I knew for sure.

Not too bad; still looks somewhat functional. The little pocket park looks nice, and the brick rows in the last photo have potential. On the downside are big utility poles embedded in the sidewalks.

Every town and city trying to spruce up its streetscape seems to be going to those brick inlays in the sidewalks. That idea has been around for a while, and one would think that by now, designers would have learned that those don't hold up well in the freeze-thaw cycle and are an annoyance when trying to shovel snow from the walks.

Hubbard is a nice walkable town. It has great highway access to I-80 and is pretty much 20 minutes from everywhere in the Mahoning Valley (malls, restaurants, etc.) In Trumbull Co. Hubbard is known for being the city of bars and churches (if i'm remembering right). The residents there have a lot of community pride, many are born there, live there their entire lives and die there. It kind of reminds me a little bit nicer version of Niles. It's also pretty close to the PA border so there are some nice hills there.

Agree with Rob.  This place looks to be in good condition and still somewhat occupied (storefronts).
