Posted October 2, 201014 yr For anyone who didn't get a chance to see last weekend's waterfall at the 2010 Ingenuity Festival... For the record the daytime shots were taken about 5:05 PM...the Ingenuity Fest was already closed for the weekend hence the sparse, remaining crowds on the subway level. The waterfall was actually shut off about 4 minutes after I was lucky enough to get the (daytime) shots. Opening Night...
October 2, 201014 yr I like it. While I have been in my new home city for much of the time it has been set up and operating, it has caused some disruption for flats residents, including no water service for hours a number of hours and torn up streets. We even got a notice that on Monday we can expect 3+ hours of no water service :|. Geez.
October 2, 201014 yr In all fairness, I believe the waterfall was an opportunity that was presented by the fact that they needed to flush some water in order to do some work on the lines. They didn't shut off your water so that a waterfall could be made.
October 2, 201014 yr Ive been wanting to see more pictures of this, especially at night. Thanks Clueless. Peabody, I cant believe your gone..... Are you homesick for Cleveland yet? (although if I was reading you right you seemed increasingly frustrated by the time you left)

They didn't shut off your water so that a waterfall could be made. Well put. Something else that allowed for this to happen is the fact that the Center St. swing bridge is closed for repairs, therefore in the 'open' postion. It's closed until next Sept, I think. I believe freighter (and large boat) traffic was suspended between Fri afternoon and Sunday ~ 5 PM. I don't remember seeing even the Goodtime or NQ but of course I was not viewing this the entire time.

(although if I was reading you right you seemed increasingly frustrated by the time you left) I am still in Cleveland quite a bit until November. But I will miss it an awful lot and remember a number of things very fondly. Other things not so much... My beloved Westside Market is the most crushing loss.
