Due to a combo of inclement weather, illness, and my crazy schedule, I haven't had too much time to get out and snap photos. I have to admit it's disappointing because right about now, the combo of the sunsets and the low humidity can make for some magical shots. And - *clearly* I have to get out every now and then to keep my sanity. Instead of posting new threads, I'll just add to this and then add an "update" post when appropriate.

And speaking of clearly - I hope you enjoy this tune by Cleveland's own Deyampert

Just a few shots to start things off:

Nice shot! I've been planning on taking some skyline shots with the sunset but haven't yet. I need to soon

Awesome pics, as usual, MayDay!

I can't possibly understate how great the Terminal Tower looks now that her restoration is complete.

^Agreed.  It looks fantastic.

The lighting at night has been fantastic too.

Great photos!

I know this question has been asked / complained about to death....but, are there any plans on cleaning the Landmark office tower?

Great pics Mayday

"Ask Sherwin Williams"...

Wow, these are really beautiful.  I love the Terminal Tower.  Best skyscraper in the state, I'd say.

"Ask Sherwin Williams"...

HA!

Ironically they are a company that makes their money off of other people's well maintained building exteriors.

With thetalls in the background I always feel that it's a shame that Cleveland couldn't keep it's building spree up for longer.  It always seems to me that something is missing in the skyline - about 10 other buildings.

Beautiful shots

I added a photo - there will be plenty more in the next day or so :-)

Beautiful! Do you know if they ever plan on lighting up the entire tower? Terminal Tower that is

Ouch at the Sherwin-Williams dig at LeBron.

I like the tower lit that way; it is consistent with the others around PS. That is a gorgeous shot!

I apologize, there was this little thing called the Depression.

Love the update. What a beautiful city.

A+, my man

You can find some discussion about this on here.  Not sure which thread, though.  Basically, Cleveland's downtown is not that well situated for buildings over 21 stories.  The bedrock needed to go above that height is so far down that building supertalls is nearly cost-prohibitive.  Besides, anybody that knows Downtown Cleveland knows that, for the most part, its best areas (at street level) are in those gaps in the skyline.  Skyscrapers, except ones built out of necessity, do more damage than good to the urban fabric IMO.... something I never realized before joining this site ;)  They are pretty to look at from afar, but suck the life out of the street from up close.

Oh, and the little thing now called the Great Recession.
