Posted October 19, 201014 yr Cleveland up for Lingerie Football League team CLEVELAND - Football in the buckeye state is about to heat up. Cleveland or Columbus will get a Lingerie Football League team for the fall 2011 season, according to a news release from the league on Monday. The full-contact, indoor league features ladies in bras, underwear and shoulder pads in a seven-on-seven game of football. “We appreciate that football is part of the heartbeat of Ohio and we eagerly await next fall when we introduce LFL football in the state of Ohio,” said Mitchell S. Mortaza, founder of the Lingerie Football League, in a news release on Monday. Three other cities will get franchises next season, bringing the LFL to 14 teams. Lingerie football has been gaining popularity since the league was created last year. http://www.newsnet5.com/dpp/news/local_news/cleveland-up-for-lingerie-football-league-team
October 19, 201014 yr A bunch of loud, drunken, obnoxious pervs watching fundamental-free football, sounds like a Browns game- Cbus can have this one.
October 19, 201014 yr This is real? I thought the "LFL" was the PPV thing during the halftime at the superbowl.
October 19, 201014 yr Is this league outdoor football or is this arena league? Does anyone know? Both but most games are played in arenas. Hope Cleveland gets this...
October 19, 201014 yr This forum must have a lot of closet homosexuals. I don't even watch football that much but when I saw it on TV I did enjoy watching some of it before changing the channel at least. The team can go to any Ohio City for all I care but I still contend Columbus has the best looking chicks. It must be because of OSU or the Limited Brands models.
October 20, 201014 yr I think they should ditch the pads and the pretense of football and just turn it into a giant pillow fight.

December 7, 201014 yr Well, I don't really know what the f the Lingerie Football League is, but I'm all for Cleveland having more events downtown
March 29, 201114 yr Cleveland is finally expanding into the IFL! :) The games will be played at the Q. Here's the league website: http://www.lflus.com/ More Than 200 Women Tryout for Lingerie Football Forty women will make the cut and be invited to compete at a mini-camp in April. If they survive the camp, 30 of them will go to training camp to compete for a coveted spot on the roster. Lingerie football began as Super Bowl half-time entertainment and has become the fastest growing sports league in the country: Sell-out crowds, big-time advertisers and now, a deal with MTV. The founder of the league sees Cleveland as the ideal city for expansion. "People eat, sleep and breathe football in Cleveland. And look at the support they put behind the Browns...and the Browns haven't done anything in quite some time. So if they can get behind the Browns in that way, imagine what we could do with Crush football at The Q? Especially given the NFL situation. If they go into a strike, this will be the only game in town," Mortaza said. http://www.kplr11.com/news/wjw-lingerie-football-league-tryouts-txt,0,6603631.story

Anyway, I saw some highlight footage a while ago, and I must say that these girls are indeed playing some real football.
